“Chappell Hill Bakery & Deli - home made good!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2013

Out enjoying the country fresh air, we decided to stop at Chappell Hill Bakery & Deli to pick up a few things to take home. Love the variety of sausage links, meats and cheeses - bought 3 versions of sausage - garlic, venison and beef, plus a package of Gouda cubes. Trying to decide which bakery items was tough - - selected some chocolate chip cookies and homemade sweet rolls - - of course we had to try the poppyseed roll and got coffee to go with it. Huge cafe area - cafeteria style lunch counter. The BBQ smells were mouth watering. One side is the deli / bbq line and the other side is for the market side with canned jellies, vegetables, meats and pies. Friendly staff - - very clean.

“The Kolaches are Excellent”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 15, 2013

Having been in the oilfield for 27 years, you tend to learn who has the best baked products for you to deliver to oilfield service companies and out to drilling rigs. The Kolaches and Cinnamon rolls from Chappell Hill are everyones favorite!. The sausage they use are made right down Highway 290. Make sure you stop in for some kolaches!!. Restroom is very clean as is the whole deli/restaurant.

“Great place to rest and eat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 16, 2013

Stopped in for a break and ended up buying desserts, jerky and breakfast for the next day! Everything was great and would recommend.... one strange thing was they had no Chappell Hill sausage for sale. You think they would support the local people? Still a great place to rest your driving skills and fill up on food.

“A little bit of everything”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2013

After reading the reviews, we decided to stop by for lunch on our drive home. I'm so glad we did! Everything we had was great and very well priced. The food was fresh, and everything was clean and welcoming. We ate BBQ sandwiches with green beans and a side of potatoes. I am picky about my cue, but it was well cooked with just the right amount of sauce. We also got some sausage kolaches to go-- those were delicious, and I wished we had gotten more. I also wish we had bought pie- the merengue pies looked delicious- I guess we will have to head back to CH to find out!
