Our family booked this for our 35th wedding anniversary. I can't imagine having a nicer place to stay. It was refreshing, quiet, and fun. The hosts were the best.....very family oriented. We loved the downstair room and being able to come and go as we saw fit. We could not recommend a nicer place. Enjoy!

We arrived late in the afternoon of July 1st and had reservations set to see the Musical "Texas" in Palo Duro Canyon later that evening. We were advised that even though the dinner which was included with the tickets to the show was available at 6PM it would be better to go at 7PM because the Show did not start until 8:30PM. That was good advice as it was hot in the lower 90's until after the sun set below the canyon rim. We certainly appreciated not having to be out there outside the entire 2.5 hours before the show.
We enjoyed a good night's sleep in a comfortable bed afterward as well as a good breakfast in the morning. (Too many times B&B's will provide only a Continental Breakfast. Gee, I can stay home and eat cereal and muffins and the like.) We were provided an omlet along with fruit topped by yogurt, and colaches washed down with coffee, juice and water also. A hot breakfast is always a welcome delight when visiting a B&B.
The B&B itself was an historic 19th Century Home. The folks were knowledgeable about the area, interested in us as people and a warm friendly family, too.
As you can tell we enjoyed our stay very much and would have liked to have stayed another day or two if time had allowed us to do so.
