Wonderful museum. A must see when in Amarillo. It takes all day to look at everything in the museum.

“Day trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

This is one of those places that you set aside a whole day for. They show you the history of the Panhandle in a well thought out design. There is more to see everytime you go.

“Great Museum Needs more on Georgia oKeefe”

Very good exhibits and great art. I wish that they had more on Georgia O'Keefe's connection to Canyon.

“Lovely Museum with a diverse collection”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 2, 2012

This is a wonderful museum worth looking for. It offers tons of interesting info on the panhandle, its people, its oil wells, its firearms, and more. We spent the morning here and came back for more after lunch. I leave it to others to assess the museum's attractiveness for kids, but adults should find something to interest them.
