Thought I would try this place for lunch since they had gotten several Readers Choice Awards in the local newspaper. Well, the menu was a bit limited plus most places offer lunch specials - not the case here. Service was absolutely the worse - only 2 waitress for the lunch crowd and the owner/manager was visiting with customers when he should have been picking up the slack. My waitress did not deliver my hamburger and did not check to see if I needed anything else. Had to flag her down to get mayo and mustard for a now cold burger that was over priced. Claimed to serve a "Signature 8 oz. All-beef Burger". The 8 oz. of beef was dry, not cooked to order and reminded me of the frozen beef burgers from HEB (supermarket) that can be nuked in mins. Also, this burger only came with chips. If you wanted fries get ready to pay an additional $1.50. No way. Ended up taking this dry over priced burger home to the cat.
Maybe other items would have been better, but don't be in a hurry if you go there and don't expect a refill on your tea. All in all, think I will not waste anymore money going to Café Twenty-Three Hundred.
