Top notch Bed & Breakfast getaway.
Great location on Inks Lake. Excellent food and accommodations. The Great Room will take your breath away, as will the lake views. Very distinctive and well appointed decor in each room. On site pool and lake activities. The chef is excellent. Will definitely come back!

We had an incredible experience this weekend. Circle H Lodge is more than a bed and breakfast, it is an experience. The Lodge itself is awe inspiring. The view is fantastic and the food is a five star restaurant. I had the best steak l've had in years and the apple crisp tart with cinnamon ice cream finished me off. Best investment ever for a bed and breakfast. Can't wait until my next visit..

Room Tip: The El Hefe is the bomb! large sleigh. Bed wrapped in leather, two tv's, even the bathroom, over...

We're not B&B people generally but this was right in the center of an area we wanted to explore so we took the chance.

I called on a Thursday to book for that Friday and Saturday night. Britain answered the phone and was very helpful in helping us choose a room for me and my two boys (7 & 9). She emailed us a map and the gourmet menu options for lunch and dinner (breakfast was chef's choice and amazing.) The chef buys food based on your order so at breakfast you let him know if you'd like lunch and/or dinner and he'll get what's needed. He can also do things like hamburgers and fries for the kids (amazing by the way) which wasn't on the menu.

We didn't get to the house until 10:00pm on Friday night. We came in to an empty house and the key was in our door right where Britain had said to go. Remember, as a bed & breakfast, on a slow weekend at night there may not be staff on hand. We settled down in our comfortable Texas themed room and went straight to bed.

The next morning we met the couple and another family staying there. As others have said, it really would be a great romantic getaway for sure. After a wonderful breakfast (boys said the best bacon they had ever had) we all jumped into the lake and played all morning. There's a great little pool there as well but we enjoyed the lake too much to leave.

The house sits at the tip of a little peninsula so the views of Inks lake are beautiful. The wrap around porch is perfect for reading and relaxing. Good rocks on one side of the house for the kids to explore and climb.

There were canoes available at the dock and based on all the little fish we saw while swimming I would expect decent fishing.

The house is simply amazing; you have to see this place with it's Austin stone inside and out.

This wonderful house started as a weekend retreat for an Austin family and after the daughter had a wedding there, they decided to start a business and the hosted weddings there. After hiring an amazing executive chef for the weddings, they decided to expand it to a B&B.

It is central to many fun activities in the area like Longhorn Caverns, Inks Lake State Park, Canyon of the Eagles, Eagle Eye Observatory and the town of Burnet. Hamilton Pool would be another great attraction at only a little more of a drive.

Room Tip: Rooms on the left end of the house open to a screened-in porch which was very nice. All rooms are am...

I have stayed at the Circle H two times. Both times I was treated to a great bed, and even better food. The hospitality there can not be beat. And the chef, well lets just say he works magic. I had dinner both occasions and the food really is five star!

Room Tip: All the rooms are great, but I really loved the Zebra room.

Circle H Lodge is without a doubt my favorite place in the world to be. From the moment I drive through the gates, I know this is no ordinary place.
I love the decor, with the high timber wood rafters, and the feel of a mountain lodge.
But perhaps my favorite thing about it is the ambience. It is perfect for a romantic getaway with my husband of a family reunion.
I can't say enough about Chef Matthew Wayland.. The food he prepares is like dining in the finest restaurant. We especially love the trout almandine, but everything I've had there has been outstanding.
Give it a try. I promise you will not be disappointed.

Room Tip: Our favorite is the zebra room! Beautiful sleigh bed and view!

Wonderful place for a romantic weekend... can't wait to go back!
The lake is gorgeous, the Lodge is beautiful (spacious, yet a cozy vibe),
and the food is to die for. Literally forming drool thinking about it!

Room Tip: *depends on # in party!!

Can't say enough about Circle H Lodge. The service and the food was excellent! Our room was very nice and we couldn't have asked for anything better. This is a great place to go to get away from it all for awhile and relax and rejuvenate. The view of the lake is amazing and very peaceful. The Lodge is also near several day trip activities such as vineyards and recreational activities so there is plenty to do if one desires. We will definitely be coming back in the near future!
