“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 4, 2013

Wow! Beautiful antiques + sophisticated ownership = a GREAT experience at the Ant Street Inn. So warm and welcoming. The kind of place that when you walk in the door your spirits lift. I was incredibly impressed that they actually had dark colored wash cloths in the bath room for makeup removal! It's those little touches that make this B&B so very special. And it is spotlessly clean in all the public areas as well as the guest areas. Don't miss a visit to the upstairs Veranda. Take your coffee or a glass of wine and enjoy the view from your rocking chair along with all that clean fresh air. And Suzi and Keith - the owners - are the nicest, most knowledgeable and accommodating hosts! No wonder it's sometimes hard to get a reservation. I'll be back again asap!

Room Tip: The two bedroom suite is an incredible value with lots of space including a full kitchen. It's...

“unique site”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

It is hard to describe the ambience at this site, You have to see and experience it. If you like to relive history, you will love it. To imagine how it all looked years ago and appreciate the way it is furnished now, is worth the visit. Everything is done to make you feel comfortable. From the coziness of lobby to the little things like Blue Bell ice cream in the fridge. We have there in the past and look forward to our next visit.

“amazing!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

We headed south from fort worth, not knowing anything about the little town of brenham, and ended up saying we will definitely come back for a full weekend just to stay at the ant street inn! We were just amazed at the decor of the place, the service and the kindness of suzi and keith. we loved every minute of our trip...the bed was super comfortable, the room was perfect, the tub... breakfast...just can't say enough good things about it...except we didn't have enough time to eat the complimentary bowl of blue bell ice cream! thanks so much to the gracious new owners- it is a perfect match with their personalities and the inn!

Room Tip: We loved the Saint Louis room- but you will want to splurge on the San Antonio room for a special oc...

“AWESOME!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 15, 2013

We were in town for a wedding, but it was also our 27th anniversary weekend so we wanted something other than a regular hotel. We certainly found it at Ant Street Inn. Suzy and Keith were awesome, as were their employees. After returning from the, reception we opened a bottle of champagne to celebrate our anniversary with some friends but we did not have the "proper" glasses. Suzy and Keith immediately brought us champagne glasses and shared their story of the Inn with us. The room was fantastic and the bed was one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. The breakfast was just as good. It was an awesome weekend! Denny B.

“Venture Back To A Time When Travel Was Pleasurable”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 4, 2013

We celebrated our 9th Anniversary at the Ant Street Inn. We live in the Austin area and had originally expected to stay close to home at a local B&B, but most of the local options were either booked or too impressed with their own ambience (translate that as too high-priced). We scanned the internet for other options and found the Ant Street- don't know what link we used... just dumb luck. The room was great- we stayed in the Charleston which had a good mix of old world charm and new amenities. Prior to checking in, we visited the Thyme Day Spa. We relaxed in the hotel room before going to dinner at the Longhorn Steak House (just down the street) as part of a mid-week package incentive. Even though the weather was cold and rainy- the Ant Street couldn't control everything- we were able to visit the many shops in Brenham and eat in a local sandwich/ice-cream shop. On balance, it was a great anniversary and less than 2-hours away from our home. We didn't start out the process thinking that we were going to go to Brenham and the Ant Street Inn, but we are glad that we did.....

Room Tip: Most rooms have access to the Veranda in front of the building- this would have been a pleasant spot...
