French Dip, Pastrami, and Southwestern Sandwiches were all great. Chocolate Meringue Pie was delicious! Very Friendly! The place for lunch in Brenham!

“The place to visit while in Brenham”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

This restaurant has a most wonderful menu - a great variety. The athmosphere is quite rustic and the staff are very helpful.
It is very hard to pass up the ice cream on the way out of the restaurant.

“Great Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 11, 2013

We (wife, I, and another couple) ate here for lunch on a little get-a-way. Went after Sunday Church service and the place was packed, but we were able to get our food very quickly. Cool decor and great choices of sandwiches, soups, and pies. We all very much enjoyed our food and the deserts afterward, and the shop is perfectly located for touring the streets of Brenham afterwards.

“I do not understand what the fuzz is all about”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

I have recently paid a visit to famous (?) Must Be Heaven after reading all the good reviews. To be perfectly honest, I do not quite grasp what all the buzz and fuzz is about.

Yes, it is a classic but the decor is rather cold and unwelcoming, with tiled floor and rather simple tables and a few booths. Sandwich choice is quite decent and some of them are quite tasty but it does not justify the price of up to $15 (sandwich, fries, drink).

My advice? If you want to try something truly special in Brenham, and you are into baked goods cut sideways with something inbetween - try best burger in town, Dairy Bar.
