I stayed at this hotel recently for business. The room was comfy, and clean. The price was good. The breakfast was good, The people were friendly. No elevators! I am elderly, and had a 2nd floor room with some heavy suitcases, and had to lug them upstairs. Why a hotel having more than 1 floor would not install an elevator is beyond me. Stupid! Anyway, I will never give more than 3 dots for a hotel with no elevator.regardless of how good it is. This hotel was average to slightly above average.

Room Tip: If you have a hard climbing stairs, get a 1st floor room.

Pleasant place to stay in Borger, very good breakfast and friendly staff. Very clean and well maintained, would recommend to anyone. The only fault I can find is that it's located in Borger, Texas, but a great place to stay nonetheless.

It was a fast check in when I arrived. Glenda, the front desk clerk, was friendly and professional. She gave me directions to China Dynasty, which is located one mile down the road from this Best Western. The room I stayed in on the ground floor (room 111) was clean and had two queen beds. I used the gym in the morning. The equipment is dated, but they all worked. I alternated for one hour between the treadmill, stair stepper, and stationary bike. After taking a hot shower, I went to the breakfast room. It closes at 9:00 a.m. There were potatoes, bacon, yogurt, bread, fruit, juices, and the eggs were cooked to order. It was indeed a full breakfast. There was no complimentary USA Today newspaper that most Best Westerns have for their guests, but a local newspaper was in the lobby area. It was a quick checkout when I departed. Overall, I had a satisfactory experience at my Best Western Plus Borger Inn stay in this small town in northern Texas.

Room Tip: Ask for a room which faces away from the highway for a more quiet night.

My wife and I stayed here on our return trip from Colorado in October, 2013. I am a Best Western loyalty club member and stay with BW often when traveling. Normally, BW Plus is a high quality experience, however, this one let us down. Location is good and bed was comfortable, but little else worked this stay.

Reserved room was not available so we took a handicap accessible room instead, which is fine, however, the walk in shower only had a straight shower curtain and nothing to keep water from shower from running all over bathroom, which it did. Next, lamp was unplugged and we had to crawl under bed to connect. TV did not work in the room. Noise from adjoining room.

Final straw was breakfast the next morning when the cook never showed up for work. Room was full of construction workers waiting for breakfast that never came. Poor desk clerk was trying to cover desk and run around trying to fix something for breakfast--she had no chance. What they had was watery coffee and watery juice. We left and went to McDonald's (just down street).

Maybe we caught them on a bad day, but a BW Plus should be more on top of things.

Room Tip: Check all the lamps and TV to make sure they are plugged in and operating.

We found this hotel on our way to visit family in Oklahoma. We liked it so much we decided to stay again on our way back home. Clean and nicely decorated rooms. Friendly desk and breakfast staff. Refreshing pool and hot tub. Yummy cookies in the lobby. Excellent breakfast with several choices. Reasonable prices.

This hotel is a nice place to stay if you are passing through town and need a clean comfortable place for a night or two. It is a hotel and not a motel, so that is a plus. I booked online, so the check in process was simple and straight forward. Room with king bed that was very comfortable, desk, sofa that would pullout for extra bed if needed, mini fridge and microwave, and in room coffee maker. You get free breakfast, but it ends a 9am, so you may not actually get the free breakfast if you sleep in. Bathroom was clean and everything worked. Room carpet was very clean and looked new. I personally stay in about 100-110 hotels per year, and this location is a great value for the price paid. Parking is adequate, although you are right next to sonic and Braums. That could be a plus. The overall location was quiet and comfortable. You can book a room at this place not worry about it.

The best thing I can say about this motel, is that they have great service, both at the front desk and at breakfast. As others have noted, the ladies fix your eggs to order. As with all motels in the oil boom areas of Texas, a majority of rooms seem to be filled with workers away from home. One draw back that will keep us from ever going through Borger again on our way from the Texas coast to Colorado .. lack of decent restaurants in this town.
