“Pretty good”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 29, 2014

Great ambiance... We had margaritas that were funky tasting - couldn't tell if it was the mix or the alcohol. Hubby had fish n chips, which were good and I had the shrimp po boy which was just okay. I saw that they had homemade desserts, which is always a hit. We may try again for brunch sometime to give them another chance.

“So good, went back for Sunday brunch!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 16, 2014

Five of us went for dinner Friday evening. We mis-judged the time and had an appointment at 7:00. We told our very sweet waitress our dilemma and she managed to get all of our dinners out in record time, to-go boxes and bags, our check and change in less than twenty minutes! The food was very good, the shrimp po-boy was excellent. Today's brunch had many choices including salad, custom omelets and many others. Once again, our waitress was prompt, pleasant and efficient.

“Excellent experience!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 11, 2014

Absolutely fantastic food and service. The people were so super and the food to die for. fried mushrooms and FFries the tops. We also had stuffed baked potatoes and brisket sandwich.
Can't wait to try their Sunday buffet. Have to drive 30 miles to get there but entirely worth it. Prices really reasonable!!

“Great buttermilk pie!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 17, 2013 via mobile

Very neat place and one of the few open on Monday night for dinner! The buttermilk pie is great. Desserts are overpriced when compared to price of food would be only complaint. Great service.

“Strange Turkey”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 29, 2013

We ate here, for the first time, last week, when driving through Boerne. The restaurant is attractive and the service was great. We were taken aback, however, when a man came to our table and started quizzing us about where we were from, etc. We had no idea who he was, and found the whole experience unsettling. Apparently, he was the owner. I ordered the turkey, mashed potatoes, and broccoli. The menu said it would be "just like Thanksgiving." Hmm...The mashed potatoes and broccoli were really good, but the turkey was definitely not roasted. Instead, it was thinly sliced and salty. It was like lunch meat that had been fried. Very strange. My friend had a large salad and it was OK.
