“Awsome place for the young and old.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013

This is a awsome place for children to play and look around. There are old west buildings that were used on old western movie sets, there are some good shows (Pistol Packing Paula is great), animals to see beautiful property, a play ground for children and a gift shop. A great way to spend a day!

“Expensive”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2013

For what was offered, the admission here is way too high. It is a cute recreated western town but was very small and not much to see and do. We enjoyed the wagon ride through the property and the "Pistol Packin Paula" show but other than that, there is nothing else to do for the $42 we paid for our family of four to visit. They offer gyros, BBQ and funnel cakes at a premium. They also have a gift shop which had some affordable items but overall was just a push for you to buy movies filmed there and a coloring book written by "Pistol Paula".The stunt show was "cheesy" and just another way to make $. You could spend $5 for a family member to get "arrested" and do a dance to "I'm a Little Teapo"t to get "released". We had a good time b/c we always make our own fun wherever we go but we will not be returning here.

“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

We spent the entire day at this place during the slow season and it was fantastic! We were kept busy with shows and entertainment that we barely had time for our picnic lunch till later in the afternoon. We loved seeing the buildings, the shows were great, we loved Paula and we had a personalized Zebra golf cart ride to see the animals. My son loved his time in jail and also helping with Woodrow the long-horn. The boys loved going for a horse ride and the play ground was a hit with my 17 month old. The evening dinner show was great and my 10 year old had all the answers from seeing and learning during the afternoon shows. It was a great experience and so much fun to be in a western cowboy town. Boerne was a great town as well and it was nice to get away from San Antonio which was a lot more city than we were expecting. We traveled from Ontario, Canada to see farms etc but turns out we are maybe more cowboy than they are with our farm but this place was a hit and we would return for sure!

Great place to go with kids! Pack a lunch and plan on spending the whole day outside playing cowboy.

“Entertaining”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 11, 2012

This was much more fun than the zoo or Fiesta Texas...there were wild animals and lots of entertainment and it was in a beautiful setting. The staff there worked hard at showing everyone a good time. It was educational but entertaining. My favorite part was the "medicine man" show, my husband liked the shoot out stunt show, my 10 year old liked the animals and my 12 year old liked Pistol Packing Paula's show. We all had our favorites but it was enjoyed by all.
