my husband and i went for a few days while he was home on r&r from afghanistan. it was the PERFECT place for rest and relaxation. traci and jason are terrific, and we can't wait to go back again. everything from the hiking and running into thier horses and lamas, to the hot tub under the stars was amazing. i cant say enough good things about our visit. HIGHLY RECOMENDED!

We went with 2 other families and our own, renting 3 of their cabins. I cannot say enough about Traci & her family! They are simply the best hosts you can ask for. If you enjoy peace, quiet, stars, you own private hot tub, fishing ponds, and a wide open range to greet you each day then this is the place for you. The location, hospitality, fun activities & taking time to swing on your porch swing & relax can't be beat! It's all things TX that this CO girl misses! I hope to come back one day!

  • Liked — The open range & the hospitality of our hosts!
  • Disliked — That I couldn't stay longer!

This was the third visit for my wife and I. On the first two occasions just her and I went for a romantic getaway. This time we took our four kids and stayed in the Lonestar. They just loved sleeping in the loft. They were on the go from the time we got there, until the time we left. We went on a long trail walk and fished in the ponds. Let me tell you, the fishing is excellent! The kids caught blue gill, perch and bass. The kids will always remember Clemantine (dog) and the cat. They hung out at the cabin with the kids most of the weekend. The kids are ready to go back! The cabins are clean and the hosts are the best! You will not be disappointed.

We have been to this wonderful place three different times and plan to return as soon as we can. The innkeepers are wonderful as well as the property. They make you feel at home, make sure you are comfortable and then leave you alone. The property is extemely clean and well kept. I can't imagine going to any other place.

My husband and I spent our 5 year anniversary at the Hideaway and it could not have been more romantic. It is a beautiful ranch with wonderful views of rolling hills full of trees. The cabin was very cozy and clean! They have ponds for fishing and trails to explore. For a small fee, they will even stock your fridge for breakfast.
Traci (the Innkeeper) was extremely nice and very accommodating. I just cannot say enough about how wonderful this place is.
If you need a place to get away from everday bustle (and still be within 15 minutes of great shopping and restaurants) then the Hideaway is definitely your place.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our truly secluded cabin in the woods. Traci, our innkeeper, graciously/ enthusiastically welcomed us, and more importantly, our dogs. Her generous hospitality was neverending, i.e. a hearty breakfast basket, videos, books and music readily available to borrow, tourist brochures for our leisure, a personal map of the property, etc. Perhaps the best part of our relaxing escape to the country was listening to the crickets while enjoying our porch swing or maybe it was gazing at the stars from our very own hot tub... Since our visit, many other special amenities have been added and we cannot wait to return!
