“Busy place”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 18, 2013

This is obviously a favorite of locals. We had lunch and the place was almost full. Great sandwiches and sides. 1 of our group had the Mediteranian Flat Bread and it was outstanding. I wish we could have stayed in Blanco longer so I could have returned to try one of their other offerings.

“Good place to stop for lunch.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2013 via mobile

My husband and I stopped here for lunch. The food was good, the restaurant was clean, and the staff was friendly. Great place to stop for a quick bite to eat.

“Nice casual restaurant”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2013

We arrived in Blanco on May, 3 and had a tour of the Real Ale brewery where we learned about the Redbud Cafe. It was my sister, her husband and myself that were hungry and wanted a good meal. We were definitely not disappointed with the Redbud. I had the fish tacos and they were delicious! There were some musicians playing and we enjoyed that entertainment as well. Their sound was just right - not too loud - we were still able to carry on a conversation. We also had a wonderful peanut butter chocolate chip cookie for dessert. My brother-in-law enjoyed a Real Ale beer there as well. A definite "must eat there" place in Blanco!

“Perfect place to relax”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 10, 2013

Our family went here to celebrate my mother in law's birthday. It's a perfect casual place where you can sit, relax and just enjoy the atmosphere. There was a man singing and playing his guitar and it was just a pleasant evening. The staff is friendly, everything we ordered was delicious, they serve local Blanco beer, among others and a great selection and variety of menu items - from soup, salads, sandwiches, hamburgers, etc. The desserts looked amazing as well, but we didn't get to try any.
Will definitely be back!

“A Nice Casual Lunch Experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 7, 2013

We eat at Redbud Cafe two or three times a month. They have a good selection of sandwiches, daily soups, and specialty items. The food is fresh and served quickly. They serve local Blanco beer like Fireman's Ale and have a decent selection of wines. I always enjoy a half sandwich with a salad and house vinaigrette. Another great plus is that we can bring our dog and sit on the front patio to eat. I like to finish off with the Potato Chip cookie combining chocolate and potato chips for a little salty taste. Since Redbud is on the town square there is always a lot activity to watch and please don't forget the Lavender Lemonade.
