We were looking for a lunch spot and stopped in at the Redbud, located right across from the Courthouse. It is in a big building full of tables topped with colorful oil-cloth covers - very cheerful! A wall of coolers were across the back with a huge selection of drinks and all kinds of beer.
A short line was at the counter, but it didn't take us long (about as long as it took to read the wall hung menu) to place our order for a Ruben, soup of the day, and Western beef dip sandwich - which were all very good and plenty big! We couldn't resist buying a few cookies "for the road". We'll put this one on our "visit often" list of places to eat.
A cute gift shop was right next door and could be accessed from the cafe. Along with all kinds of nifty gifties, the oil cloth is for sale there and I bought some to put on our patio table.
Eating and shopping all in one place... great fun!
