Not sure what Kanda of San Diego problem was, this was some of the best Texas BBQ I have ever had. The Ice is homemade style and great. Reminds you of snow ice creams. (Non- Texans would not understand.)
The ribs are great, brisket so tender it falls apart and I would drive from Dallas just for the Potato Salad. Prices are comparable throughout Texas as I have seen and servings are large.
One of the kids had a burger, which Al's grinds their on meat, and they could not finish it. Homemade frys also. Very Tasty - Old fashion Texas style Hamburgers.
Well worth the stop in Big Spring, Texas If you are traveling on I-20 or Coming down from the north on Hwy. 87.
