My husband and I ate at the Lil' Cuban Cafe a week ago while in Townsend. We walked in to Cuban music and decor in a great little shopping center area. We have never had Cuban food before, so we had no clue what to expect. We were greeted by the owner who was super nice and gave us an explanation of menu. We ordered the Cuban sandwich and the Picadillo Platter with the sides being Arroz Amarillo con Azafran, Black Beans and Maduros. Huge portions (I could barely eat half the sandwich) and everything tasted great. My husband and I agreed that they were the best black beans we had ever eaten. We ended up spending a little over $30 after tip. We frequently come to Townsend, and definitely plan on eating there again.
