“Great place to stay on a motorcycle trip with great hosts!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2010

Five friends and myself rode through the area and instead of staying at a hotel we found The Lodge. We pulled in later in the evening on a Sunday and got three rooms. They had already closed up the restaurant for the evening but they still put together an outstanding spread of food for us. We were able to put the motorcycles in the garage as well. The lodging was very nice and we sat out on the deck from our rooms and enjoyed the view. Later we started a campfire and sat around that for a while. As we were riding around, cold rainy weather was predicted for the next day so we changed our route and headed back toward the Cherohala Skyway and stayed at the Lodge again Wednesday evening. This proved a good plan as once again our bikes were in the garage so we didn't have to dry off our bikes/seats before we rode again. They have a great rec room there with a pool table, ping pong, poker table, air hockey and fooseball. While we waited for the rain to clear out we passed the time in there. They didn't rush us out the door and we were able to wait for the heaviest of the rains to clear before we took off for the day. The Lodge is only a few miles from the Cherohala, the hosts were spectacular and rooms were very nice. Thanks for the great stay and hospitatlity!

We've stayed in many places in Tennessee, but this lodge is the best by far. The service and staff is like no other. In our travels we forgot what it was actually like to stay in a place where the owners are on-site and you see them every night and day, it's just like a bed and breakfast, very attentive. There's a terrific barbeque restaurant on-site too. The rooms feel brand new but at the same time have a very nice log cabin feel to them. The grounds are beautiful and we had fun just walking around the property. Although we don't have a motorcycle, we were amazed to see they have private garages for guests who do. We talked to other guests who were on a trip with other motorcyclists, and they said they have stayed at this lodge many times and will not stay anywhere else in the area. Will definitely stay here again!!!!!!

We went to Tellico Plains for the Labor Day weekend. There were 6 in our group and we ate at the Lodge at Tellico twice! They have wonderful food and the staff is amazing, kind, and full of southern hospitality! I would recommend it to anyone!

We love this place! We took our grandchildren for trout fishing and the staff was great to bring them very nice cots to sleep on. The room has a king size bed and plenty of room to add the cots. The shower/bath is very nice tile and modern. The corner soaking tub was great for the kids. too. The rooms are very clean and the pine floors are beautiful. We Tellico but are not very good campers, so this has been a great place for us. Already been two weekends in July and are planning to go this weekend also. Walt's BBQ place which is also a part of the lodge is great too. It is nice having a place to eat so close.
