Given the good reviews I have to assume that I got unlucky. But this was certainly a very ordinary meal. I got it to go, and was surprised that my three meat combo was so light. I wondered if they had even forgotten to put all the food in the bag.
I had some brisket which was dry and unremarkable. I'd have loved to put some BBQ sauce on it, but the tiny thimble full of sauce was barely a tablespoon.
I had the ribs and they were very fatty, and certainly of poor quality. And I had the sausage, which was a sad wrinkled little thing that had no real flavor to it and was no different from any other sausage I could buy anywhere in America.
The two sides were tiny portions of potato salad that was nothing special and the coleslaw that was okay.
For $18 including tax but before tip, it was a very small portion of unremarkable food. I'd like to review their home made BBQ sauce but the tiny portion of it was so small it was barely enough to taste.
All in all I have to say that the food was over priced, poor quality, with too small a portion. The staff seemed nice enough, but that certainly didn't excuse the quality of the food.
