The restaurant does have a very nice atmosphere. The restrooms were pretty clean, waiting area was also clean and comfortable. Even though it was pretty busy, our group of 5 didn't have to wait very long.
Believe it or not, this was our first visit to Olive Garden. When we want Italian food, we have always loved Carrabbas, but since it was convenient, thought we'd try it.
The bread and salads were very good. Kids menu was great, and I wished that I had ordered something for me off of it. All of our entres were bland. My wife ordered a 5 cheese ziti, minus ricotta cheese. She was told that it comes in a package already pre done with ricotta cheese in it. Huh? At Carrabbas, you can watch your entire meal be fixed to order from scratch! I couldn't believe my ears, and thought surely she had misspoke. I got grilled chicken on a pasta dish, and I think the chicken was also precooked, and pre packaged. It was tough and dry, and really no Italian flavors.
We had half eaten our plates, and the waitress didn't seemed to be too surprised. We turned down the offer for a box, as well as the table of 6 behind us. When they were asked if they wanted a box, 2 ladies at the same time said "oh, gosh no". We all laughed a little, realizing they had the same feelings they did.
