“Great Hotel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 15, 2013

This was our 1st time staying at this location...we enjoyed it very much. Rooms were very clean and the staff was really friendly...love the breakfast. It seemed like the hotel was full, but still a very quite place. We will see you back in few months....keep up the good work...

Stayed here for one night in March woke up in the middle of the night being bitten by bed bugs. Showered and left immediately at 4:30am. No one working in the office doors were locked. Never again will I stay at Any Days Inn. Health dept will be called and a petition to shut this nasty place down will be given to local authorities

This hotel is located right on the Parkway near one of the best eating spots in the area...The Apple Barn. Rooms are small but very comfortable...only complaint I had was that the 800 number we used for reservations had reserved 7 rooms for my family of 4...not sure how that happened but the desk clerk was super friendly and took care of it immediately at check in.

The inn was very close to the Pigeon Forge city limits. This made travel convenient to Ober Gatlinburg. The hotel was very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The room had a writing desk, an older model TV with a decent cable lineup, coffee maker, refrigerator, and iron and ironing board. The pool was not in service at the time of our stay due to cold weather. The continental breakfast was very good! Love the waffles you make yourself! The rooms are in an "L" shape, and you have to exit out from the back of the inn to get back onto the Parkway. Convenient having a red light to get in and out, because traffic was BUMPER TO BUMPER!!!! I advise you pay the 50 cents per person for the trolley and 75 cents to go to Ober Gatlinburg It will take a little longer to get to your destination, but you will save tremendously on wear and tear and gas on your car in the traffic. There are several restaurants within walking distance of the inn; the shop next to the inn has junk for souvenirs. There are timeshare booths all over Gatlinburg, so BEWARE! You get free shows, but I advise you leave your credit card in the car! They won't say they are a timeshare or will show you "morality awards" but its still a timeshare. You get it, you are stuck with it for the rest of your life unless you go into bankruptcy like I did. That was the only way I could get rid of it.

Room Tip: Ask for a room that is adjacent to the Parkway if you want a great view of the mountains from your r...

I have been treated extremely bad at the hotel I booked and paid for through Orbitz. The main concern is a yellow jacket nest inside the vent in the room. My wife and I have been attacked by these wasps for days. It has been extremely terrifying and unenjoyable. I have tried to have this resolved but they are playing the "cover up" game at this point.

Other issues worth mentioning, high speed internet does not exist at this hotel, no hot water, maintance man using extremely loud blower motor at 9:30pm for an hour, extremely rude staff, breakfast was almost non existant, non smoking room had smoke coming in from the neighbors.

I left 2 days early, chargeback time!

We come to the Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg areas several times a year and our usual hotel was sold out this past time. We chose this hotel for the location and the price. We were pretty disappointed. We've stayed at Days Inn hotels before, but this one was not up to par. First of all, it is in desperate need of a makeover. The decor is very dated. The rooms had been cleaned but, but still were in poor condition. Carpets looked dirty with several stains, I did not walk on them barefoot. The comforters on the beds were dingy and I noticed some stains on mine. I never use the comforters anyway, so I just took mind off the bed. The sheets appeared clean but were VERY thin and there was a hole in mine. I noticed some stains on the mattress but I was afraid to look underneath. The bathroom is very, very small. Not hardly even room to turn around. The outside areas need remodeled and also a good cleaning. Breakfast was just okay. The waffles were good, but not much else to choose from. This room served its purpose for the two nights we were visiting, but next time we will choose a different hotel.
