I Brought my family to the Sevierville and Pigeon Forge area toward the end of July and this stay was the best ever! The staff was great and in very good humor the whole stay, and when we had a guestion if one staff member didn't know the answer they found someone who did! The room was very spacious, Clean, and NEW. It was near alot of attractions, but back far enough to a quite retreat. My son really enjoyed the lazy river and Kiddie pool with the little sprinkler in it! He had a BLAST! The wash/dryer was a wonderful touch with a toddler! Up The Creek Restraunt which is located in the parking lot is a great to walk to when running late for dinner! The pool is closed after 10:00 , but doesnt' always get closed until 11:00. Towels and trash were exchanged everyday for you, and your beds weren't touched but if you needed clean sheets they were provided upon your request. Just the way I want my home away from home! My family and I will continue to be guest at The Resort at Governor's Crossing!

The condos speak for themselves. They are very nice. The pool area was great.
Though, we had a few problems. One night the air quit working in one of the rooms we rented. The temperture got up to 86 degrees. Very little help from the front office. Did not offer to switch to another room. At check out they were not concerned to her this. No discount on that room was applied.
Tried to over bill us at check out. Watch your billing carefully. I had brought my downpayment receipt, which came in handy. Of course no manger was available to speak with. It was her day off. Of course.

After staying in the "worst" motel in Gatlinburg in June, I can happily say I've now stayed in the best. The rooms were extremely large - 2 bedrooms, living room, kitchen, 2 baths. The price for all that space was the same I paid for our "suite" (actually a room with loft) last month. The staff were very pleasant and actually carried on conversations with my family. The pools were fun, clean and not crowded at all. I liked the fact that we were out of the crowds since the hotel (actually condos) were in Sevierville, rather than Pigeon Forge or Gatlinburg, which get really crowded. Several restaurants and Wal-Mart were very nearby. I will stay only there from now on!

The kiddie pool first attracted us and did not disappoint us. BUT...The room did not appear to have been cleaned. Unswept floors, sheets wadded up in the closet and no toilet paper among our complaints. There was only enough spoons for 3 of our party of 6 to eat with in the "fully equipped" kitchen. (We ate in shifts) This was reported to staff and no response was given. The real problem was the duplicate room charge on our bill. It was not worth $166 a night and definatly not worth an extra $166 we are attempting to get reimbursed. The management has not been available for assistance with this matter.

After reading several positive reviews on tripadvisor, we were not disappointed. This was a very nice condo/hotel. The rooms were clean and spacious and everything worked. The lazy pool was smaller than advertised on the website. And, the studios do NOT have a washer/dryer, which was not stated on the website. The biggest problem we had was that the room keys kept deactivating for no reason so we had to make several trips to the office to get new ones. But, overall, this place is very good for the price and we will definitely use it again. (On a sidenote, there is a Super Wal-Mart right across the street, which is great).
