“Loved our stay!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 14, 2013

My husband and I, along with our 4 children aged 8-12, stayed here for 3 nights in December 2012. The rates were very reasonable. The room was very spaciousand clean- full kitchen, large bath, living room with gas fireplace and sleeper sofa, balcony, and a large bedroom with 2 beds. The indoor hot tub was very nice and the pool was, too. The kids LOVED the water slides and coud have stayed in there forever. there was a pool attendant there the whole time monitoring the slides. I would love to go again in the summer and use the outside pools! Location was great- you could take a back road to the other end of town and totally avoid all Parkway traffic. We will definitely be back!

Thank you for your kind review of our property. I am very glad that we were able to provide your family with a clean spacious room at a reasonable price. Our number one goal is 100% guest satisfaction and it looks like we met our mark during your visit. The indoor water park is always a big hit with children of all ages, especially during the colder months of the year. You should come back and stay with us again at The Resort at Governors Crossing during the warmer months and relax in our Lazy River while the kids try their luck at our Lumberjack Log Roll. We look forward to your next visit!

My friends and I reserved one of the penthouse suites for a weekend getaway and were very pleased with everything about the resort. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable. The suite was well- appointed and in a great location. Check-in was efficient and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Wonderful views of Pigeon Forge from the balcony!

Thank you for reviewing our property. Here at The Resort we take pride in our clean rooms and friendly staff. We want every guest to feel like family during their visit with us. Our central location allows our guests to enjoy the wonderful restaurants and shopping locations that are nearby with out venturing to far away from the comforts of their room. We hope to see you again very soon!

We decided to try this hotel due to the indoor pool facilities available to our small children.
We were completely satisfied with EVERYTHING about this place!
The room was immaculate upon arrival. The layout of the rooms are great with the bedroom separate from the living/dining area. The kitchen was well supplied with all utensils necessary to cook a meal.
And the washer/dryer in the room is something I have been told will be required at any hotel we stay at in the future!
The front desk was very helpful and the maid staff was excellent and very helpful and friendly!
The pool area was very clean and maintained by an attendant at all times we were there during our 3 night stay.
We can't wait to return in warmer weather to enjoy the outdoor pool and play area!
One of the best experiences that I have had at a hotel!

Thank you for your kind review of our property. One of the many reasons guests choose us again and again are the full kitchens that we offer in every room. It is great to be able to save money by eating in for a few of your meals during your vacation. The water park is always a big hit with the kids. Be sure to come back this summer so that you children can try their luck on our Lumberjack Log Roll at our outdoor pool. We look forward to your next stay with us here at The Resort at Governors Crossing.

Once again we stayed at the Resort. But we had a slight issue this time. We checked in the kids were all excited and we opened our door to our room and it was already occupied. I was a little freaked out. I told the kids to back up and leave the room. I mean you never know we could have been shot or seen something that we shouldn't have. But there was no harm done and we were placed into another room. Besides that we had a great stay and the hotel is awesome. We will stay there again.

Our family took a last minute trip and decided to stay at the Resort at Governor's Crossing. We had a great time there. We really enjoyed the spacious rooms and nice indoor water park area. We stayed in the two bedroom condo and was surprised to find that both bathrooms had jet bath tubs and had lots of room. The only down side to the hotel was the lack of food located at the hotel. Several other hotels we stayed at that was the same caliber had food located in the building to purchase which made it easier with four children to find snacks.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review for us. Our two bedroom units are very popular for families visiting the area. The jetted tubs in the bathrooms are great for relaxing after a fun filled day in the Smoky Mountains. We do not have an onsite restaurant, but we do have multiple snack machines in each building, as well as several restaurants within walking distance of our property. We look forward to your next stay with us here at The Resort at Governors Crossing.

Was happy with the 3 bedroom condo we stayed in over the weekend. The rooms were very spacious and the beds were comfortable. Only a couple of minor things they could improve upon. I don't think they use fabric softener at all on their towels, they were pretty rough. The sofa, love seat and chairs in the living area were not comfortable at all to sit in. I couldn't get wifi on my ipad and the guy at the desk was not very helpful at all. He tried but was not very knowledgable about logging on. They reset the router and my son was able to use wifi later, but I was never able to get on it with my ipad. Other than that, I liked the condo and would stay there again.
