We have never stayed at a B & B that we enjoyed as much as Berry Springs. As the other reviews say, the lodge itself is wonderful, as was the cabin where we stayed. But more than anything else, their attention to detail and taking care of the little things is what sets Berry Springs apart. If you could imagine something you might need or want, they had it, or would get it quickly. Patrick always had a smile and was eager to help, and Sue's breakfasts and desserts were fabulous. They also have a great knowledge of the area and can really help you find activities and restaurants while avoiding the traffic as much as possible. We were there for Memorial Day weekend and just wanted to relax and decompress. We walked the trail down to the ponds and pavilion, sat in the hammock and read books. The Lodge was remote enough that you felt like you were miles from civilization, but you could have anything to eat within 10-15 minutes. Patrick will even call ahead and get your name on the seating list. Ultimately, the best review we can give is that we liked it so much that we reserved a weekend in October to relax and enjoy the foliage. Hard to imagine a place that gives you so many options while so thoroughly spoiling you. If you love visiting the mountains and want to get away, but also have all the area amenities within minutes, you cannot do better than Berry Springs. Thanks Patrick and Sue.
