“Perfect in every way...we will be back!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2014

We stayed at Berry Springs this past weekend in the Colorado Springs room. I am a very picky when it comes to where I stay on trips and I can honestly say that I would recommend this property to everyone I know and am already trying to plan our next trip back! When we arrived, we were met at the door by Melissa. We immediately felt very comfortable and welcome in the home. One of the draw backs to staying in bed and breakfasts can sometime be the feeling of a lack of privacy, however, we never felt this way when staying at Berry Springs. There was not a single detail missed when planning the layout of the lodge or the day to day details of the rooms and experience. The view was breathtaking, and partitions on the porch allowed for added privacy when enjoying the hot tub or the view from porch. Breakfast was excellent and was so much that we did not eat lunch until very late in the day since we were still full from breakfast! We particularly enjoyed the stuffed french toast on our last day. Evening desserts and guest fridge with snacks and drinks were a nice touch as well. I would have to say that this is probably one of the cleanest places we have ever stayed, and as I mentioned earlier I am very picky. It is apparent that Patrick, Sue, and Melissa take great pride in their work and the hospitality with which they provide their guests. I could go on and on, but I will just say that the pictures do not do it justice. You have to stay here for yourself!

Room Tip: We really enjoyed the Sunrise View King Fireplace Hot Tub room, Colorado Springs. This room and the...

We spent two nights at Berry Springs and couldn't have been more satisfied. The Inn and our rooms were immaculate, the owners and Melissa were very friendly and the food was excellent. It is a beautiful setting with panoramic views of the mountains, valleys and woods. It was so quiet, yet was just a short distance to dining and entertainment. We will definitely be back!

Room Tip: The best room is the Blackberry Springs room in the separate cottage. Spacious and on the main floor...

When planning a trip to celebrate a very special occasion - you want everything about the place you're going to stay to be perfect in every detail from the common areas - to the room - to the amenities - to the food - to the location - to the scenery - to the attitude of the owners. At Berry Springs Lodge - we found such a place to celebrate our 50th anniversary. This B&B is a place that was literally built by the owners and a friend - with the desire to have a special place in the Smoky Mountains - and they got it right! Berry Springs Lodge was awarded the Trip Advisor Certificate of Excellence, Travelers Choice Award and the Green Leaders Bronze award for 2013. They are also members of the elite Select Registry of Distinguished Inns of North America. All the accolades written here and elsewhere are well deserved. Will we return for future visits is not the question - when and how often is what I need to figure out now.

Room Tip: The inn has 11 rooms and one cabin. The rooms are divided between two floors with the majority of ro...

One of the things on my bucket list was to stay at a Bed and Breakfast and I picked a great one to stay at. We felt right at home, the place was immaculate, food was great, scenery was unbelievable and the B&B Owners were very knowledgeable and welcoming. I do plan to stay again soon. Worth the drive and money.

Room Tip: We loved the room we had, but could hear the people upstairs walk on the floor. So if that bothers y...

This was our second time at Berry Springs& we thoroughly love staying there. It is so relaxing &romantic. Wonderful place to spend some quality time with your spouse. Excellent breakfast. We really looked forward to the evening dessert. Snacks &drinks in kitchen area are a plus. Big library of movies and books available. Very cozy, clean and tidy. Owners are so inviting & friendly. Will definitely go back regularly!

I know I am just going to be adding my two cents to the rest here, but I have to agree with everyone else on Tripadvisor – we were very pleased with the Berry Springs Lodge this past weekend. The view, as you can glimpse from the pictures, is beyond compare. Though the breakfast is solid, what stood out more to us was the little touches like complimentary drinks and snacks at all times, homemade evening desserts, the turndown service, and the special bathrobes. The Hideaway Springs (I think is what it's called) suite that we were in was fantastic. When there was a slight issue with the fireplace, Patrick made sure it was corrected almost immediately, and we were extremely impressed with his consideration and quickness. The jacuzzi and the swing outside the door are absolutely wonderful! Lastly, the location is perfect for the area...not right in the thick of the traffic but fairly close to everything at the same time.

We ended our 2 week honeymoon at Berry Springs Lodge. The drive to get there was a bit daunting in the dark at first, but for the rest of our trip, once we knew where we were going the drive and location was very relaxing. The owners of the inn were incredibly inviting, kind, friendly, and accommodating. When we arrived, way later than expected, Patrick, who waited up for us, greeted us, remembered that we were on our honeymoon, my dietary restrictions and that we had been on the road a long time. He showed us around and then took us to our room. He was very, very welcoming and made us feel "at home." Breakfast was wonderful and very accommodating to different needs. Every night there was a delicious dessert provided in the main house. We stayed in one of the suites that was separate from the main house. It was our own little cabin. It was BEAUTIFUL. The suite was two main rooms; a living room and bedroom, a huge, beautiful bathroom, and a private balcony. The view of the mountains was breathtaking and it was so incredibly peaceful. Bed and the rest of the furniture was very comfy. The rooms were very clean. The Inn has so many interesting features. We spent an evening fishing in the two little ponds (more entertaining than really fishing) playing ping-pong and walking around the land. We spent most of our time in the Smokey Mountain National Park, and in Gatlinburg. The price was worth how wonderful our stay was. Our only regret is that we didn't spend enough time just at the inn. We will be planning to go back to the Lodge in the future. To Patrick and Sue: Thank you for making part of our honeymoon so enjoyable.
