“Nice place to visit!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed January 24, 2013

Came to Pigeon Forge for a four day after-the-Holidays getaway. Couldn't have been happier-it was clean, quiet, convenient, restful, wonderful, price-worthy, just all we needed and wanted. Will definately stay here again. Had exercise room to help keep us honest also.

Room Tip: Five floors to choose from, we overlooked the parking area and also out to the Parkway where traffic...

We got this room off of Priceline. $103 a night. The lobby was beautiful as the pictures on their site. Staff was very nice and welcoming. The room was clean. My only complaint is that it could have used a few more recepticals. When your kids have game systems, cameras, and mom/dad have cell phones that need to be charged... It gets frustrating

Based on TripAdvisor ratings and difficulty finding a better place to stay, I booked this hotel. It is overpriced, beds are very uncomfortable, and our room had some problems with a leaky ceiling that was not addressed during our visit, but had been patched multiple times previously. We found the restaurant to have average food, but decent prices. Location is great, and I would stay here again...but it would not be my first choice.

2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 9, 2012

Because of a very positive experience several years ago, while this property was being "updated", we decided to return. The lobby area was very festive and inviting, with a fire in the fireplace and a very friendly staff. We were one of 5 couples attending for a reunion, and as such, did get a bit of a discount off the normal room rate.

Our room was on the 5th floor, in the "new section", which I had requested because of health concerns we had for my wife's COPD. I was assured the room was fresh and smoke/mold free. Sadly, it was moldy and the only way to keep the room moderately fresh smelling was by running the air conditioner/heat pump, set at 62*, non-stop. Fortunately, the outside temperature was warm, so we did not freeze. Mold was visible on the floor, under the heat pump unit and on the window frame, next to the unit. The bed was moderately comfortable, with only a slight sag. The bathroom was amazingly small and also moldy around the edges.

We made the mistake of eating in the restaurant on our first night and it was disgusting. That we were the only occupied table in the entire restaurant at 6:30pm should have been a clue but we didn't pay attention and had a bad meal as a result. All the foods appeared to have been done in the microwave, the gravy (on a hot beef sandwich) was obviously canned and re-heated, and the meat was unrecognizable. The salad, however, was good.

I'm sorry to see that this property has slipped so, since we last visited. There were signs that certain areas had been updated, but sadly, not the room infrastructure. Nice TV, sad room. Much better accommodations throughout Pigeon Forge. We'll look elsewhere, next time.

Room Tip: Look elsewhere.

The lobby in this hotel is warm, cozy, and inviting. It goes downhill from here. Our room was on the fifth floor. Upon entering the room we immediately noticed that the air conditioner heater unit was noisy. The curtains had what looked like brown water stains all across the bottom as though they may have survived Katrina. It is obvious the cleaning staff vacuums the high traffic trails but they do not waste their time getting near the walls. The bathroom is functional. I will leave it at that. As another reviewer said the restaurant is not inviting at all.

There has to be better places to stay. In all fairness the price is cheap, you get what you pay for.

When checking into the hotel, all seemed fine. The lobby is cozy with a fire in the fireplace, and very helpful, and welcoming staff. The beds in our room were just a little bigger than twin sized, which two normal sized adults could not comfortably sleep. Thankfully we were just staying one night. We arrived late at night, so the stained curtains were closed. However, the morning shed light on a larger problem than stained curtains. There was MOLD growing on the curtains as well as on the window seal! It was unbelievable! The staff was notified at check out and the manager said that she would take care of it. Now whether that happened or not is beyond me. I will never find out, because I will never stay there again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Convenient location on the strip. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. We couldn't have asked for more! Also, we felt that the price point for our room was a great value - they even offer free wifi.
