“Good Value”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

This is an older property what is well kept. It is in a great location in Pigeon Forge. There is plenty of parking and parking security keep non guests from filling up the parking spaces at the hotel. It does have direct outside access from every room to the outside which some people like and others do not. The hotel was built before the new breakfast mode arrived in American hotels. With that said the breakfast room is very small for the amount of rooms they have. This is not a problem when you consider the cost compared to the new large change hotel costs in the area. The room are large and well kept. There are both an indoor and outdoor pool. The people at the front desk are helpful. We have stayed there before and the only difference was the the water was so cool that I was able to take both a bath and show only using 100% hot water. That means that the water is really not hot enough. Computer use at the single computer for guests was difficult because during our three day stay a daughter of one of them employees was using it for facebook time. I even looked over her shoulder and read the name of who she was writing to. She spend a huge amount ot time on the computer. We are going to stay there again next month. The room cost more on certain days. The best days to stay as far as price are Sunday--to Wednesday. It is all about supply and demand which is typical of vacation destinations.

Room Tip: This is a good value for what you get. It is a good basic hotel that has been kept up quite well. We...

This was located right on the main road. Kind of old and it shows, but it was clean and well maintained. The breakfast left alot to be desired, and if you like to watch television bring your own. Poor reception on the 1990's T.V's. Parking was amplel and the amenities were good. Three floor with one elevator. Good for the price I guess.

Room Tip: This was ok for the price but next time we will shop alittle more.

First let me say the rooms were clean and nice complimentary breakfast. My complaint is about the parking. I called and made my reservation far in advance and asked if the hotel can accomodate parking for a car trailer. I was told it could accomodate, no problem. When we get there we are told we only have 1 parking sace and the trailer and truck will have to parked in a field (already muddy from rain) across and down the road. The hotel knows the reason for the stay is for the car show. When I asked the desk clerk about it, no apology, no customer service skills. When I asked for the name of the manager, she gave me "Robert". When I asked for the last name she replied, "we don't give that out". What?? When does a business not give a last name of a manager? Again very bad customer relations! I know because I'm been in the business for 40 years. We went down the street to a hotel we weren't any staying at and the manager told us we could park our truck and trailer at their hotel. We offer $$ and she said no because she likes to accomodate people who visit their town..now that is going over and beyond customer service! Guess what we did, we gave them our business! My problem is the Toni Best Western should have been honest up front and explain the parking situation. For this the corporate office will get a letter.

My only complaint is that the parking rules are not upheld. We have been staying at this inn for the past 3 years. We have been coming to the Shades Of The Past car show for the past 5 years. This is the first year we had trouble finding parking every room is to have one parking space. If you leave for a show when you return there are no parking places to be found.

We have been staying here for 15 yrs. We love the convenience, the cleanliness, the over-all experience. We have always been treated with great courtesy by the management and the staff. We've stayed other places, but alway go back to Toni Inn. We usually go to Pigeon Forge, TN 3 to 4 times a year.

Room Tip: We haven't had a bad room.
