“Christmas hotel!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2013 via mobile

This place was the highlight of my trip. We stopped for a quick lunch break coming from Bristol and our destination was Chattanooga. When we stopped we spotted the Christmas inn and decided to surprise my mom with a one night stay here with low expectations. When we arrived we were given the cookie-cutter bellhop treatment and a hot cup of Christmas coffee. Not to mention the massive lobby fully decorated with beautiful Christmas decor and the comfort smell of Christmas tree. When we got to our room it was also fully decorated and came with a personal letter from the maid and 4 Hershey's kisses. The pool was no disappointment and the slide was fun as well. We decided to stay two nights and spent the rest of our vacation in Pigeon Forge. It was an incredible experience and we all felt like we had just stayed at the North Pole.

Recently I packed up the family and headed to the friendly confines of Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge. Every year we make a trip to this little oasis in the Smoky Mountains and loved our choice of Hotels. The staff was exceptional and having fresh cookies and refreshments in the evening after a long day of activities was highly valued by the kids. The theme of the Hotel is obviously Christmas and being my favorite holiday since childhood made it especially memorable. In a word I would describe the Hotel as 'Clean'. The staff seems to take extreme pride in pleasing their guests and in today's world that is a rarity. The Hotel pool is nice with a slide and for those less adventurous there is a small indoor pool. I found the Inn very centrally located for those who are going to Dollywood and Splash Country. Some may view the Hotel as pricey, but you do pay for what you get! One negative of the vacation was Ober Gatlinburg. I would avoid this tourist trap with a vengeance. Reminded me of a cheap carnival. On the culinary side of things run the other way if someone suggest you try Captain Jim's. The buffet was horrible and not worth it's big city $$$. If you go to Splash Country get the kids an arm band to facilitate their ability to ride more rides in a timely fashion. They are $20-$30 but worth the money. The Inn was great and made my family feel right at home.

Absolutely loved and enjoyed our very 1st visit to Pigeon Forge. Excellent location to all the happenings on the parkway and good proximity to Dollywood parks. The Inn offers very nice ambience and relaxation for a summer getaway. The kids really liked the cookies and pools. We peeked in the game and exercise rooms, which seemed very cool but we did not get a chance to visit. The breakfast is okay and not as stellar as some others described; could use more seasoning for better flavoring. The Christmas store right across the street is a delight and offers hours of ornie shopping. Con-we wish the inn had more room options available like a suite with 2 queen beds.

Room Tip: If you get a room with a balcony be sure to inquire about which side of building you're getting.

I have stayed here several times and am staying here again this weekend. The beds are amazing and so is the delicious free breakfast. My son also loves that the indoor pool is open all night and the Inn is right next door to Starbucks and Mellow Mushroom.

Beautiful hotel. Beautiful lobby, beautiful grounds, beautiful rooms.

The best customer service, and MOST CCONSISTENT I have EVER encountered. Every person desk clerk, housekeeper, maintenence, spoke, every time, and it all seemed perfectly natural.

We stayed over Christmas break, and the place is 5 stars all around! The entire establishment is very clean, and well maintained. The customer service is A+ with people who treat you like more then a credit card. Highly recommended for families as they have several events daily to participate in. Our kids loved the decorations, and the evenings listening to the singing Santa. The breakfast was very good with choices most places do not offer. The mattresses are heaven and you will not get a better nights sleep anywhere else.

This was my first stay at the Inn. I am a 24/7 365 day a year fan of Christmas and have always wanted to stay here. It did not disappoint. The decorations are beautiful. The hotel is very clean and in a perfect location. I called the day before and asked for a shower seat for my dad. It was in the room when we got there. The service is outstanding and the staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the breakfast buffet. The atmosphere is just happy, happy, happy!
