“A Cabin in the Mountains”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 26, 2011

Going to Gatlinburg? Skip the hotels and rent a beautiful cabin. My family of 18 meet in Pigeon Forge every year for a weekend and we've been staying at the Eagles Ridge for the last four. The cabins are gorgeous and offer a lot of activities for the kids. Everyone has their own space and yet we can stay up all night in the living areas to visit. They are right off the middle of the Parkway close to everything and yet quiet as ever. We have called maintenance for bee problems, but they were there within an hour to spray those pests away.

We attended a 90 min presentation for a time share, and got a cabin in Eagles Ridge for three days for $239 during peak season. Value was great, however the cabin needed major updates. It was an older cabin, and the pics on the internet made it look much nicer. The bedspreads were very old and sheets were torn with huge holes. The carpet in the bedrooms was OLD. The curtains were old as were the mini blinds. The fireplace was nice and so was the kitchen. Hot tub was excellent!!!! The toilet was not working but maintenance repaired it pretty quickly
All in all a great value for the price we paid, I would not pay full price for this cabin, when there are much nicer ones in the same resort.

We stayed with Eagles Ridge Resort in cabin #88 "Mountain Magic" . My only complaint with this company was our cabin was not ready for us until 5:00. I realize they have many cabins that turn around on a weekend and all need to be cleaned but it was frustrating having to wait. The staff was very friendly and apologetic over the situation which made it easier to deal with. Once given the keys we headed to the cabin. The directions were a little hard to follow but we did find our cabin and when we arrived it was WOW...just what we were expecting. It looked exactly like all the pictures and had the parking that we needed- as we brought a small trailer with us. The cabin was clean and everything worked. We were a very short 5 min drive to PF which was nice. There are a few cabins on the road that Mountain Magic sits on but it seemed very private while we were there. Would not hesitate to stay with this company again :)

Our first vacation ever and I must say, Eagles Ridge is a very good place to say. I really enjoyed the privacy that came with having our own cabin. We stayed in 38R Country Romance and this cabin was clean and cozy. The beds were huge and comfortable. Very inviting after a long day at Dollywood. I was suprised to also see 2 bathrooms both with tubs and showers. Also each bedroom had a gigantic jacuzzi tub. The kids loved not having to take turns, and I was impressed that we never ran out of hot water. There were lots of dishes and towels which made me feel right at home, so I cooked some and it saved alot of money. The pool was very nice and in walking distance from us. I would definitely stay here again the staff was friendly and helpful. Thank you Eagles Ridge for a lovely stay.

We stayed at Eagles Ridge in Ledford's Lodge for the large car show held in the area. The office was easy to find, as was the cabin. We had plenty of room for the two vehicles we had as well as our antique car trailer. We traveled with 6 people ranging in age from 5 - 80, and we had plenty of room in our two bedroom cabin. Everything was clean and beautiful. Both bedrooms ( 1 up & 1 down) had a private bath and both floors had a sofa sleeper. Also, upstairs had a pool table and an area with a mini fridge and sink. The resort was very peaceful, and the pool was decent. The staff was friendly and even though our A/C broke at 10pm, someone was there to fix it within a few minutes. We got a great deal on our cabin and our entire group looks forward to returning!

We are so thankful we found this awesome deal. We stayed in cabin #107, 680 Kings Hill Blvd to be exact. We booked directly with the owner for 7 nights. This cabin is awesome. Cabin amenities include leather couch and recliner, high speed wifi broadband, lcd tv, gas fireplace, gas grill, hot tub, jacuzzi tub, pool table, screened in deck upstairs, hardwood floors, and everything you need for the kitchen. The cabin is minutes from light #3 on the main drive in Pigeon Forge.
Do yourself a favor and stay in this cabin at the resort. The owners were extremely nice and were concerned about the quality of our stay as this is their personal getaway. The price is right as well. We give this rental a strong 4 star rating.

The only complaint we had which may not matter to some, is the limited amount of cabinet space for food as we have a large family. Also I found it difficult to hook up our Wii to the Lcd tv as it it attached to where it sits, but you cant blame them for that.

All in all we love this place and will rent here again.

We stayed in cabin 16. It had what appeared to be mold in the bathroom. Carpenter Bees had taken over the outside and so we could not sit out. The Bedroom, which was upstairs, had a beautiful view if only you could see out the dirty windows. We left. This place was a mess. Other cabins there seemed to be in better condition and other people liked their stay. However, some had major problems with it. I heard one person's toilet fell through the ceiling. I did not see that, but heard about it. I would never take a chance on staying there again.
