“Great, but I wouldn't rate it #1”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 14, 2014

I loved the food! Authentic (as far as I know) brats and fries, and very good ice cream. They have about 6 different flavors of bratwurst, that are either imported or home made. The bread they go on is like pretzel bread, very good. The fry-dipping sauces are unique and house-made. The twice fried potatoes were outstandingly good, the 6 flavors of mustard were fun and tasty. The ice cream is basically very good vanilla pressed through a spaghetti press and covered in chocolate and strawberry sauces, with chocolate covered caramel candies for meatballs. Very tasty.

The location in general was good and the Island was a fun place with lots to do, but the parking kinda stunk.
On the way from parking into the Island they have a really nice water fountain that dances to music on the hour and half hour. Fun to watch, (Pawner's Pom Freet) is how its pronounced, is right underneath the Sky Wheel. Has mostly outdoor seating, with a couple tables in side. We all agreed we'd go back, but can't figure out how this place made it to #1!?

“Tasty Ice”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

The Spaghetti Ice was yummy! It could come with Strawberry, Raspberry or chocolate. I chose strawberry. It looked the most like spaghetti sauce. I think $6 is too much for the amount. (About the size of a fist).

“Friendly service, fresh food”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 11, 2014

A wonderful change of pace from the typical tourist fare. Hot fresh fries and sausages. We had currywurst, original, and Nuermburg sausage, each delicious. Two fries was enough for 4. Delicious!

“No handicap access!!! ”

No workers even said anything. They just stood there and stared at us trying to get a wheel chair in. The wheel chair got threw the door but couldn't turn it so we just left.
