We were excited about trying a new restaurant. When we arrived, we were told it would be a 15 min. wait. Thirty min. later, we asked if it would be faster to eat inside or out, because we'll take either. The kind door guard told us it was the same wait for either.
After 45 min. the girl asked if our buzzer went off (like we'd just sit here if it did?).
Anyway, I said no.
She said, "we'll, you've been here a long time, just go on in, they have room."
We did .....and boy did they! There were empty tables everywhere. The place wasn't half full.
Maybe they were holding them for reservations. Maybe they are understaffed. I'm not sure what their reason was for having my family, along with many others, waiting so long to be seated.
Once inside, our waiter took our order & food came quickly. The burgers and sandwich were typical restaurant fare. The steak meal surpassed our expectations. Mostly though, it looked like Applebee's food at best. Just average chain type food.
Service was just average.
It was a clean restaurant.
I don't imagine we will return here. When I'm on vacation, I'm treating the family to something special...a reward for making it through day to day life struggles together as a family.
This just didn't reward us accordingly.

First impressions are sometimes the only impression you get and we understand that. I apologize for the long wait and we will work hard to make sure that we do not fail you again. I hope you will try us again in the future.
