“Good stay few changes could be better”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 25, 2013

I stayed at this new hotel, and though it was nice over a weekend stay. The manager was nice and got a room with a good view. Bed was comfortable. The hotel did have free breakfast, although it was bland but some other people viewed it the same in the reviews. The walls are thin and you can hear people banging and talking which is not that bad but an inconvenience when it comes to sleeping. Most hotels have this issue anyway. Water pressure was good bath room was nice an clean. The only main issue I did not like was when you go the back parking lot of the hotel there was alot of construction people staying, and it seemed all they did was stand out there and smoke. I think a designated area needs to be made for smokers away from the door and that area. That was the only main thing I did not like. I would stay here again if the price was right, esp since the managers were nice. Breakfast does need to improve more like the Clarion Inn that is across the road.

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor for good views.

Thank you for posting a positive Tripadvisor review. I apologize for the inconvenince you experienced with our back patio area. Several guest do utilize this area for a common smoking area. We have since moved the smoking urns to the farthest corner of the patio so that all our guests can enjoy the fireplace/sitting area. Thank you again. Looking forward to your next stay with the Hampton Inn Pigeon Forge!

Went to Pigeon Forge for long weekend, have been here many, many times (since 1989). Decided to stay at this Hampton since it was a newer one. Its in a quiet location, liked that allot! Pro's...Quiet due to location, really like that! Room was very clean & nice, bed was great due to the pillows! (just my opinion) loved them!! Mattress & bedding were good, as usual with most Hampton Hotels... Room was clean and had everything we needed including wi-fi. Elevators are conviently located when you come in back of hotel from parking lot. There is a nice out-door fire place with chairs....We did not have breakfast, so cant comment on that. Cons....really only 2. First one is the doors at this hotel (for some reason...maybe heavy?) close VERY loud and you willl think people are slamming them, however they aren't! The way they close (quickly) it just happens. Second is the parking lot is on a hill & take it easy coming in and out of drive way as it has definite higher grade then the road. Overall nice place to stay & would definitely stay here again! If you are going to Pigeon Forge/Sevierville definitely give Huck Fins, The old Mill, The applewood Farmhouse Restaurant/Grill, a try always great food! Check out the Out-let malls always a deal and good to walk around after eating! ha! Stop & get some Apple-Strawberry Wine from the Applebarn winery to take home or a sweet treat or visit the Applebarn gift shop its neat! LOVE the smell of the Tennessee Whiskey candle (smells more like caramel corn) i bought there....got some neat coffee mugs too! Pigeon Forge always fun trip! Here's a quick tip...drive to the park & ride inbetween Pigeon Forge & Gatlinburg & take the trolley/tram into Gatlinburg its so easy and in-expensive way to go! save your gas and hop on!!

Room Tip: We had a room that was on the right side of the hotel, could see pond from our window and view of th...

We enjoyed our stay here with our large group. The hotel was in a very busy part of Pigeon Forge and close to many major attractions.
The breakfast was ok. They had a lot of variety and replenished regularly. Lots of coffee!
One of our favorite things about this hotel was the very inviting sitting area adjacent to the lobby. It was a great place to rest and relax. There was also an inviting area out back, but it was too cold for us to use it.

I give 4 stars because everything about our experience was excellent except for the front desk service. Never saw a smile. Yet I did not let their unfriendliness keep me from loving my stay. I only dealt with them momentarily. We went to another hotel for a conference and the front desk greeted us immediately with a welcoming smile. Absolutely everything else about our stay was wonderful.

Thank your for posting a great Tripadvisor review. I apologize for the poor customer service that you experienced with our front office staff. As you can see though -out the several Tripadvisor reviews, we receive many compliments on our hotel staff, this is quite a surprise that you did not receive the same service during your visit with us. Please accept my sincere apology. I hope you will give us a second chance to make a more pleasurable stay for you in the near future. Thank you again!

As usual Hampton was great. Only a short trip from home but so nice for a little getaway! Very clean. Attentive staff. Lovely mountain themed decor to fit the area. Close and convenient to outlet shopping and attractions but off the main drag a bit. Will visit this one often! Very new inn!

This hotel appears to be fairly new. Hotel front staff was wonderful and very helpful. Got a great room with a pretty good view. It was the off season so the hotel did not have a whole lot of guests. This usually means a limited breakfast. It wasn't the case here. Nothing but positive things to say about this place. Just hope I can stay here again.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn on Teaster Lane on 1/24-1/26, 2013. It was a great experience. We were given a room on the corner in the front of the building. We had a view of the Parkway. The room was extremely clean and the beds were very comfortable. We were impressed with the size of the room....very spacious. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in town.
