“Great food, excellent setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 6, 2014

Our family ate at the Pottery House and decided to sit outside. We were seated at a table near a creek in the back of the restaurant under a gondola so we could watch the Koi fish. It was a wonderful setting back there! Our server was great, even with as busy as she was, she was still very attentive. There were 5 of us and a baby and even though the restaurant was packed, we still received excellent service. I would recommend arriving before you get hungry, as we did have a half hour wait. The bread that they serve and make on site is to die for! I had the shrimp and grits, 3 others ordered steaks, and 1 other person got the salmon and we all really enjoyed our meals. It should be noted that if you sit outside, you are not able to order alcohol of any kind due to local laws. Overall it was a great experience, great service and the prices are very reasonable.

“Yet again another fabulous place!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

We stumbled upon this place after a rude man with his snarky attitude told us there was to long of a wait at the old mill. The old mill pottery house is amazing!

I went here with my parents wondering what was to be had here and we all ended up sandwiches. My parents got the roast beef which was heavenly (and came with mash potatoes and cinnamon apples). I got the veggie panini and basically was drooling over the freshness of the veggies. Nothing was over powered and our wonderful waitress Wendy made this resturant greater.

She was always attentive and than me us for coming to the resturant. She made sure our drinks were full, we had all the things we needed and even gave us some of their homemade bread to go! Everything was amazing here and I highly recommend this place.

We finished our meal with the coconut cream pie. If you want the softest fluffiest mirange anywhere, get this pie! The way their pie was done was different but only gave it more homemade characters. If you love coconut get this pie!

“Wow, is all I can say.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

Extremely good food! Plus more than we could eat. It's a busy place, but they handle it very well, I enjoyed every bite! We had eleven in our party, we were seated easily, we had to wait for a bit, but no big deal (we got there around 4:30) ours orders were taken quickly, and the food followed, everything tasted home cooked, it was a welcomed relief after a few days of fast food.

“Excellent dining experience!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

We dined here on a busy Friday night. Originally it was our plan to eat at The Old Mill across the street. The wait there was over an hour, so we decided to give this restaurant a try. A friend had previously recommended it, and he was spot on!

We were seated right away. The bread was awesome. Our server, Paul, did a great job. Food was excellent. My family if picky eaters were very satisfied.

We bought a slice of carrot cake to take back to the hotel. It was delicious.

Overall, excellent experience. Highly recommend.

“Have not been disappointed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

We just got back from our vacation in Pigeon Forge and had 2 meals at Cedar Mill Cafe and were dot disappointed from the last time we were there in 2012. Same great food, prices and service. Waiteress was very attentive but not intrusive, the tea was like mom makes and we all (6 of us) had something different and loved it. Dessert was a double chocolate cake moist as the day they iced it. I have to recommend this place and look forward to dinner there next year.
