“Locals love it too...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

Pottery House has always been my favorite, but I just now got around to writing a review. It's locally owned (always a plus), and they use the grains that they mill at The Old Mill across the street in their recipes... awesome. The service is perfect... every time. and the food is perfect... every time. The homemade breads are amazing, their pimiento cheese is to die for ( and this from someone who has NEVER liked pimiento cheese), and the chicken almond quiche is fantastic. This is the only restaurant I go to where I have never had one bad thing to say.

“Must Go”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 20, 2013

This restaurant is a "must go" any time we are in the Smokies. Located across from the Old Mill and Patriot Park in Pigeon Forge, thee is plenty of parking. All food is prepared on site - no frozen food here! Bread is baked, soups are "start from scratch", quiche are "home made" and on and on. I especially enjoy the Loaded Potato Soup and quiche combo lunch. One of their special appetizers is home made potato chips covered in bacon crumbles, spring onion, and melted cheddar cheese and served with sour cream - plenty for the whole table. I have NEVER had poor service; the wait staff are obviously well-trained and there are additional staff to support the servers.

In addition to the two indoor dining rooms is a outdoor patio accented with plants and a fish pond. A variety of breads, pies and cakes are available for take-home.

Do add this restaurant to your list of places to go when you are in the Smokies.

“You must eat here!!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

Me and my Wife loved this place. The french onion soup was outstanding as was the fresh baked bread served with it. The smoky mountain cheese steak sandwich on the fresh baked bread was delicious. We ate outside and it was a very nice patio with a small pond. I will be returning here the next time we visit. Also the Old Mill creamery was a nice end to out meal at the Old Mill.

“Loved It!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

We happened upon this area of the Old Mill, the shops were delightful. We decided on this restaurant and it was the best decision of our vacation. The steaks were thick, tender and flavorful. We had fried green tomatoes too- everything was delicious. We will make sure to eat there whenever we visit. It was outstanding! Try it- you will NOT be disappointed.

“Always our first stop in Pigeon Forge!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2013

Such a nice place. You can sit inside and enjoy the cozy fireplace and lodge decor, or in good weather you can sit out in the courtyard garden. They serve your food on pottery that is made on site. The must have menu item is the Fried Green Tomato BLT. If you have room afterwards, try the Chocolate Pecan Pie. I promise you won't be disappointed.
