“Wonderful place to stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2012

The stay here at Quality Inn was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Immediately after checking in and going to our room, we decided to go out for dinner and when we got back we had a message on our phone asking us if everything was satisfactory and if the staff could do anything to make our stay more pleasant to call the front desk. The breakfast consisted on scrambled eggs, biscuit and gravy, waffles, muffins, orange juice and coffee. If they had sausage or bacon it would have been excellent but it was satisfying. The only negative that I saw was the bathroom was small but o.k. but it needed some touch up work in it. The maid service was great and the room was vacuumed each morning we were there. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone staying in Pigeon Forge. The location was great with Dollywood in walking distance and restaurants in walking distance also. Conveniant to shopping areas.

The staff are wonderful, the breakfast is very good and the beds are awesome! Very clean. Very convenient not only to Dollywood but also to some great shops and restaraunts. My wife and I came for a vacation get away during Thanksgiving and the staff was always very helpful in suggesting places to eat and see. The only thing was that the internet connection was a bit choppy sometimes. It was come and go and sometimes you couldn't connect at all. Had an issue with our room safe and the maintenence team came right away and fixed it right up.

We stayed the weekend of the 10th-12th. We ordered a vacation package from them. Which I highly recommend. It enabled us to have reservations to shows that were sold out by the time we got there, plus saved us the hassle of maybe pre booking online and picking up/printing tickets. Anyway, check in time is scheduled for 3, we arrived roughly 130 and decided to go ahead and go to the office and pick up our tickets in case we got tied up sight seeing before check in and didnt get to the hotel before our show at Dixie Stampede. Upon arriving we were told they would let us check in early because our room was already clean! Yay! The check in was easy and they had all of our tickets. The only thing I would say is that the man helping us didn't seem to have answers to some of our touristy questions. Like some of our Trolley questions. I kind of think they should/would know this considering its a huge deal there and stops literally in front of the hotel (which is a bonus btw). But anyway, we had a king suite. And it was wonderful. We had a couch (which I believed pulled out) a WONDERFUL gas fireplace, king sized bed (which was comfortable), And a huge CLEAN bathroom with a huge jacuzzi tub. Plenty of towels and had a fridge and microwave. Make sure you take advantage of the free HOT breakfast. The lady who runs it is sweet as can be and the breakfast is amazing. scrambled eggs, sausage gravy, biscuits, a waffle maker, hardboiled eggs, assorted pastries, muffins, cereal, yougurt, juice, coffee etc. Was wonderful. Deff as good as any breakfast at Denny's. Also saw a few people take 'to go' plates that the lady helped prepare, back to their rooms for other family members etc. Was nicely done. Dixie Stampede is directly across the street. We didn't even drive there, we just walked. Theres a Dennys next door, a Texas Roadhouse on the otherside, several fast food restaurants in walking distance and of course because you are on the 'strip' everything is a close drive. I did not visit the pools, so I can not offer any opinion on that. All in all it was a FANTASTIC place to stay, and we will DEFINITELY stay here the next time we are visiting. BTW, this was an anniversary trip my husband and I stayed for...

Adequate hotel. Clean. No bed bugs. Small but who cares since you obviously don't stay here for "the resort feel and stay." It's a place to sleep while passing through whether one day or more. Lots of stuff to do and places to eat all within walking distance. I wasn't crazy about the back parking lot-it was secluded and dark. I like that there's a micro and fridge. We just stayed 3 nights in KY at the Ramada in Shelbyville@ I-64 for $70 a night an it was rather disappointing.

This was our first stay at the Quality Inn at Dollywood Lane, but it won't be our last. We have compared hotels in the area of this style and price, and this is the best yet. While it is a little outdated, it is clean and comfortable. They have upgraded the televisions and bedding (beds sleep great), and they offer a complimentary hot breakfast. The breakfast is very good, but if there is a crowd or weekend, seating is limited. The only drawback is a smaller size bathroom. It was fall, but for summer travellers, the pool looked great! For the price, we would definitely recommend.

The bathrooms were really small, hard to shut the door, but the rooms were decent. They have a nice breakfast with waffles, scramble eggs and sausage gravy...Waffles were really good, eggs were cold and a friend had the sausage gravy and said it was not very good...overall it was still a nice place to stay with a good location.

I've now stayed at this hotel about four times in the last five years. Most of the time booking a medium sized group in with me.

The location is great. Minutes to Dollywood and Gatlinburg by car or trolley (with convenient trolley stops at the hotel) and walking distance to a ton of fast and fast casual food options. Also walking distance to a million go kart/laser tag/mini golf places. By Trolley or Car, 10-15 minutes to the northern area of Sevierville with the big outlet, Nascar Park, etc.

The hotel itself is actually a motel with exterior doors and older style AC units. Rooms are clean and well kept though from our experience. Pool area is nice with a smaller splash area for kids as well. I agree with others that the breakfast area is too small, but they do a nice job and have some warm food options and always seem to get the job done. You may just want to either go at a non-peak time, or be prepared to bring the food back to your room.

Never had issues with traffic noise or anything like that.

Friendly staff, great location, more than decent rooms...we'll keep coming back for sure.
