My best friend and I stayed in this Hotel for two nights on the 3rd Floor in the month of October. We had great customer service from their friendly staff at the Front Desk. They served HOT Breakfast!! They provided us with more towels and the room was very spacious for two with two queen beds. The parking lot was always full at night time but very lit and safe. My only complaint is if the hotel advertises 100% NO SMOKING HOTEL on their website and facility then smoking shouldn't be permitted on the premises of the hotel! Everytime we walked up to our room the smell of smoke would follow us in our room and we noticed people always smoking up in the balconies of the hotel. Other than that, we were very comfortable and safe in our room. I really liked the advertising wall on their first floor near the Ice Machine. We got lots of information on shows around in the area. If we visited the area again we would use this hotel again.

Thank you very much for staying with and your comments/review as we greatly appreciate your business and value your input! We are glad that you found our accommodations, amenities and service to your satisfaction. Yes, we are a 100% non-smoking property (rooms/building) but we do provide "smoking areas" that are located away from the rooms/building(s) for our guests that smoke. We do not allow smoking on balconies or the sidewalks as this is prohibited by state law. We do our best to police these smoking/non-smoking areas but it is pretty much impossible to control this situation on a consistent basis. We apologize for this situation and we are continually working to improve our "smoking policies" to better accommodate our smoking and non-smoking guests. Thank you again for your kind comments about our property and we look forward to your return!

This is an older hotel with outdoor room entrances. Our room had a king size bed (so comfy) along with a fireplace and a big garden tub.

The room was absolutely spotless! We appreciated the moderate price and the very nice room.

Husband and I stayed 5 nights at this property Oct16-21, 2011. Very clean and the breakfast was very good, best we've had in Pigeon Forge ever.
The front desk clerks are very nice and were friendly smiles for everyone.
We had stayed in the past across the street at the Best Western Plaza Inn {6 different times} but this is way nicer over all.
Only problem, not really a problem more a dislike, was the last two days the maid service was after 4 PM cleaning our room, it was very busy because of the fall foilage, but we also made sure we were out of our room by 9:30 AM so not to slow the maids down on their cleaning. After a long day at Cades Cove and riding the mountains, just wanted to lay down and rest an hour before our 5 PM show on both evenings. But everything worked out fine and the maid was very nice when she came to clean, it had been a very long day for her also. We will stay there again, it is very nice.

Room Tip: We had a standard room {316} very up todate.

This is our sixth time to the Great Smoky Mountains and it gets better each time. This was our second time to stay at Quality Inn & Suites and both times where a very good experience. The hotel was located close to everything we wanted to do and very easy the get into and out. The room was clean and the king size bed was just right. The hotel was also well maintain they had both outdoor and indoor pools that where also maintain very well. The breakfast assortment was great but the sitting area is small so get there early. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to our next trip to this area and well be staying again at this Quality Inn.

Room Tip: Book early for the best rooms and room location.

We stayed for one night in early June on our way home from South Carolina. Nice clean room, great pool for the kids although was very crowed and the water was freezing!. The breakfast room and seating was very small for the size crowd they were trying to accomodate. Overall I would stay here again but I probably couldn't take the crowd for more than a night or two.

Thank you for staying with us at Quality Inn & Suites and we are glad that you enjoyed your stay and would return! June is a very busy month for us and when all 126 units are full we do experience larger crowds at our pool area as well as our breakfast area. Our pools are all heated and we do change the temperature of the water depending on the air temperature (weather) and may have had the splash pool a bit cool (most likely in the morning) as it is very shallow and heats up quickly with the air temperature increasing throughout the day, etc., but we will monitor this more closely. Thank you for sharing your comments with us as it helps us to provide a better overall accommodation experience for our guests. Overall, we had a good stay. The room was clean and was exactly what we reserved. We had no problems with the room or the rest of the property. The only negative was the checkin and checkout was slow; the hotel was full though.

Room Tip: The free breakfast was good but there was not meat.

The hotel was clean and in a great location. There were no bugs and being on the first floor we have noticed that some hotels have that problem. There were not any noises that we herd from above or beside our room.
As for problems, The first problem we noticed was the air conditioner, it was very warm in our room and looking at the thermostat it said 70 and would only go in 2 degree incriments. I set it to 66 and it was still too warm, kicking off the covers warm, set to 64 and it was way too cold. Finding a good temp for the room was impossible.
The second issue we had was the pillows, we should have brought our own. They had 4 pillows per bed but they were half the size of a normal pillow. I am the type of person who likes to fold a pillow in half and get cosy, this was impossible and it was hard to get into a comfortable position where the little pillow would not shift. It was like trying to sleep on a throw pillow.
Parking was not really that much of an issue although getting out of the hotel can be a problem as there is a very small reception/check in area and when we were trying to leave there were 2 cars side by side and we had to find another way out. Also you have to turn right out of the hotel and get over quickly if you needed to turn left. This can be done but you must be aggressive or travel further down the road to turn in the median turnaround. This is not enough of an issue to not stay at this hotel just be prepared as there is no light to use to help you get out but there are plenty of breaks in traffic if you are quick.
I used the pool area, the hot tub to be exact. It was clean the area was very nice although very close to the road. This was only an issue for noise from loud cars and bikes and also exhaust fumes but I did not find that to be a big problem suprisingly. I would have liked the hot tub to be a bit hotter but the advertised temp of 104 seemed accurate.
Overall we would recommend this hotel, the staff was nice and the breakfast was decent. The only complaint is that there was not sasuage or bacon with the breakfast, found that odd for the items that they did have. I suppose that we could have gone next door to the Denny's if we wanted to complain about the food. It was a good place to stay overal and the price was comparable to others in the area.

I do apologize for the issues with the A/C unit and sometimes these units are somewhat difficult to regulate to a certain temp or setting. Also, we agree with you on the pillows. Being a Choice Hotels affiliated property, we must follow certain rules and regulations and our pillows are part of these rules/regulations/standards as set forth by Choice Hotels. However, we have good news as the pillows will be upgraded or changed soon based on guest input so hopefully this issue will be resolved soon.
