“Great comfort food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 5, 2013

First time to visit Huck Fins and it was great place for dinner. The side dishes: beans with ham, slaw, hush puppies, dill pickle spears & onions were very good. The waitress did a really great job. Shrimp, fried green tomatoes, fries...it was all very good. Tea & water comes in a quart jar, they don't mess around. The atmosphere is southern charming. Will return on the next trip. Great experience.

“Mediocre”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2013

Catfish is good but a little greasy. Sides are run of the mill. All you can eat is the draw here. Chicken was mediocre but certain not bad. I would say this place did not do anythign to really make me want to come back again - although I certainly left full and satisfied.

Every time we are visiting the Pigeon Forge area we stop to eat at this restaurant. We love the unlimited catfish. Also the live singer is great!

“Good Ol' Southern Cookin'”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 2, 2013

Huck Finn's takes you back to the days of riverboats and southern hospitality. The catfish is great and you can have it prepared several different ways--fried, light batter, grilled, Cajun to name a few. Also on the menu is chicken and burgers. Your meal starts with a variety of fixin's including beans with ham, slaw, hush puppies, and dill spears and onions. Your beverage is served in a quart Mason jar. The chairs, tables and floor are wood, and the tables are covered in checkered oilcloth. Pictures of Mark Twain, Huck Finn and river scenes adorn the walls. Altogether, a very charming place for lunch or dinner.
