“Great accommodations in Pigeon Forge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 1, 2011

We were very pleased with Riverstone Resort and would stay here again without hesitation. The resort in newer than most in the area, up-to-date, clean, well landscaped and maintained. We had a four bedroom condo located in building number one. The condo was spacious, clean and well furnished. We had a large patio overlooking the golf course behind the resort. The lazy river is a nice size and there are tubes available to use free of charge. The indoor pool is glass enclosed ( which did get a bit stuffy during the heat of the day, but there are sliding glass doors that can be opened), the pool depths are 3,4,5 ft and there is a small 1 ft baby pool and a hot tub. Pool towels are provided. There is a wooden playground on property. We enjoyed using the charcoal grills that are available near the indoor pool. The resort lobby is very pretty and check in was quick. For check out we were asked to empty the trash, run the dishwasher and leave the keys in the room- very simple and easy. The resort is located off of the main strip in Pigeon Forge which is a plus, yet a quick drive or there are even things to walk to if you prefer. I recommend this resort hands down if staying in Pigeon Forge.

Just returned home today after a 4 day stay with RiverStone. Check-in was quick. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. We were in building number 2 directly across from the pool. The 2 bedroom was great. Everything worked well. The fitness center had everything I needed for maintaining my exercise routine. The pool was comfortable. The kids liked the lazy river. My wife and I joked that this would be a great condo to have in a few years after we retired. Dollywood is just two miles away. Really loved being able to park in the parking garage. Kept the vehicles cool. Check-out was less than five minutes. The only "complaint" I would have would be the wireless internet was weak and at times you could not connect. There are, however, wall jacks so you can connect hard wire. Since I forgot my ethernet cable and did not opt to go buy one we just worked around the connectivity issue. Other than that we had no complaints at all.

When we stayed here last year we loved the condo we were in & were able to get it again this year. The reason my family loves this place is because a few of the condos are pet friendly (but only for dogs & small ones at that). The staff is very friendly & helpful. The rooms are very nice & all of the amenities of home are available to you. One of my favorite things about this place is you cannot hear anything from the neighbors beside you or above you. In most hotels you are able to hear through the paper thin walls but not here! The room was very clean when we got there & absolutely no insects (spiders or ants) were ever in the room. The pool & lazy river are very popular and very nice. My advice to you is if you want to go to the pool & not have kids jumping in around you go either early in the morning or 6:00 PM when most of the kids are still at Dollywood or out to dinner. The gym is nice & so is the golf course. Overall you will enjoy your stay here.

We stayed here this past weekend with 6 people in our room. I had reserved a 3 bedroom condo but when we got there we were given a four bedroom and four bath! I was very spacious, clean, and well decorated. We did pay a little more than I would have liked for 2 nights but it was worth it to have so many bathrooms and so much extra room.
The only negatives were that we had to wait over an hour and 15 mins which was well into 45 minutes past the check in time for our room to be ready, which was already late at 4:00 and the air conditioner in our room didn't seem to work too well. When we got into our room someone was there working on it and said it was fixed but it never really got very cool even though we turned it down to try to cool it off. Check in was pretty chaotic with everyone getting there at once and quite a few other peoples' rooms weren't ready either.
The resort does have a nice pool area, lazy river, and playground. We used all three every day we were there.

We stayed at Riverstone for a small family reunion and it was perfect! We got two 4 bedroom condos in the 2nd building which was right across from the indoor pool. The lazy river was AMAZING - the kids wanted to do nothing but swim, which was great because it was 95 degrees almost every day. The condos were beautifully decorated and the beds were so comfortable. The master suite was incredible - wish I could live there! Love the golf course view and the location was close to everything! This will be the only place we stay in Pigeon Forge for now on!!

Room Tip: 2nd building is right across from the indoor pool.

We went for my 53th birthday. It was great.
This condo was very clean, we stayed on the 6 flr, very relaxing and quite and loved the view of the town especially at night. The beds where more than comfortable!!! The pool & walking trails are beautiful.

Wonderful place to stay and close to everyting. Good restaurants, shopping. We will be renting again and also recommending to others who want a great place.

Room Tip: Stay more than 2 night to get discount

Location was good but we did not get any rest due to the people in the unit next to us. We called the front desk but they were not much help.
