“Great stay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

We just got back yesterday from 4 nights in this hotel, with our children and grandchildren. The grandchildren loved feeding the ducks. Breakfast was good, rooms where clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Could use some new pillows a little to soft for me. Maybe they could have some soft pillows and some firmer ones, would be nice. We had some sugar ants in one of the rooms but called the desk and they came right down and sprayed. For the price it was a nice stay will stay here again.

First time to stay here and it was great. The rooms clean and easy access. Price was great. we stayed in Gburg two nights before and it was nothing compared to this hotel and we paid about $90 a night there compared to $59 a night at this hotel. The pool was nice for the kids and also the breakfast was nice. Will stay there again!

I was a little nervous about staying here because the price ($59 night) was so much lower than surrounding hotels. But, I trusted the reviews here, and booked four nights for a family vacation. The hotel is extremely clean, smells clean, and has a efficient, friendly staff. Had our room ready when we arrived. Rooms are standard size, great TV. Beds are comfortable, but pillows are not that great. Good breakfast, but get there early if you want a seat, otherwise just take it back to your room. Close and very convenient to all Pigeon Forge attractions. Ducks and Geese in parking lot provide free entertainment for the kids. Overall a great value - will definitely be back!

Room Tip: Had an outside river view room and it was great. The inside rooms surrounding the pool would probabl...

Rooms were clean, sheets crisp and changed every day. The room over us had a sauna tub that leaked twice on to one of the beds. The office seemed ok with us sleeping on a damp mattress. The breakfast offering was good...no variety so after a few days (we were there a week), it was boring. The landscape was incredibly beautiful and backed up to the Little Pigeon River which the kids really enjoyed. We fed pigeons, ducks, and gueina hens (sorry about the spelling). The bigger problem was the smokers. While the rooms are smoke-free, the smokers were everywhere and you couldn't walk to the breakfast room or get out of your room to the parking lot without crossing thru the clouds of smoke from the smokers hovering in all the semi-outdoor crevices. There just wasn't a way to escape the smell nor the second-hand smoke. I guess Tennessee still has a very liberal smoking policy (we come from a state that barely allows any smoking in public facilities). This would keep me from coming back to this hotel, as nice as it is.

Room Tip: Located in the heart of Pigeon Forge, next to the Christmas Store. Suggest you stay on the perimete...

This is the fourth time we have stayed here. We will always stay at this hotel. Great pool! Nice Breakfast! Great hotel for your money. We buy a huge bag of duck feed and feed the ducks while we are there! Kids love it. I would highly RECOMMENDED this hotel.

This hotel was not what we expected for being rated so highly. To give it its due, the location was wonderful, the staff friendly and the rooms clean enough. However, there is hardly any soundproofing, so you hear everything around you. Our night's sleep, which is actually what we were there for, was terrible. We were so tired, we didn't even stay over one night there. We had a river view, which is basically the back parking lot with the "river" being a stream. The light from outside pours in constantly and the curtain did not go far enough over to block it out at night. The pool is clean, but very small. They advertise wifi, but we didn't have any in our room and I had to go to the business center to use their computers. I didn't get to try the breakfast as we didn't get to sleep until extremely late. I would not recommend this hotel. There are much better in the area.

Great place to stay. We were there June 25-29th , 2012. We were very pleased here. The breakfast was great and service was wonderful. We are going back next year. Our grandson loved the pool. We paid $59.00 a night, Great price. The service was excellent , If we needed clean towels or wash cloths no problem they would give them to us. If you stay here you will not regret it. Awsome place to stay. Close to everything in Pigeon Forge. Trolley p'up outside of the hotel. Convenience!!!!!

Room Tip: We liked the back side facing the river, less noise. Very quiet.
