“Over the top! Excellent accomodations and staff.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2011

We walked in with no reservation, so first impression was important. Lynn made us want to stay before we even saw the room. While the accomodations were an excellent value for the price, Jamie and the staff added value. This is one of several locations managed by a family owned management group, and they definetly add a personal touch. Excellent stay - we will be back!

Jamie was very helpful and patient when we came into the hotel. She has a great personality and is a great asset for the hotel. If all desk clerks would take the time to be this nice to the customers - it would be AWESOME!!

We chose this hotel as we were travelling with our 2 small children and wanted a spacious room with a kitchen close to Dollywood. We were far from happy with our results, and in fact left before we spent the night in this filthy hotel. For starters, the hotel was dirty, and the "kitchen" was without dishes, utensils, pots, pans, etc. I had to go to the front desk to get dishes, etc to cook supper. The dishes provided were dirty, and far from what I would want to cook with. They didn't even have spoons, and only provided plastic spoons with which to cook!!! The gentleman working the hotel was kind and tried to resolve the problems, but the problems kept getting worse and could not be resolved. The stovetop in the kitchen had not been cleaned, and smoked and burned off who knows what when I turned it on. I had to get the kind gentleman at the front again, and he found a cleanser and cleaned the stove. We continued to try to make things work and have a pleasant vacation, until the salamander was found. There was a salamander climbing on the wall, and when my husband tried to catch it, it crawled under the bed. At that point, I called another hotel in the area (Riverstone resort--fabulous and well worth the money), and thankfully was able to reserve a room for that night and for the rest of our vacation. We quickly packed up, and were grateful we did not spend any more time at this hotel. The management did refund all of our money, and said they hoped to have our business the next time we travelled to Pigeon Forge. Although grateful for the money refund, we will never again stay at this hotel!!!

We were totally blown away by the size of the suite, especially for the price. This should be at least a 3 star rating. A couple of notes: The reservation printed out saying Smoky Mountain Resorts which is not on the sign out front. The number had fallen off the mailbox so we had trouble finding it but were glad we did! Also the kitchen has no dishes or pans whatsoever; if you want them ask at check-in. It does have a full-size fridge. They also have specific comment cards for maintenance items which is a nice touch. The breakfast is Great and the lobby is huge.

We visit the Smoky Mountains often and this is our hotel of choice. The service is EXCELLENT. Every afternoon we would return to the smell of fresh popped popcorn in the lobby. The suites are family friendly. The rooms are clean and quiet. Having made to order omelets, waffles, and biscuits and gravy for breakfast is a treat, no need to go out in the morning. We would recommend this hotel for anyone with a family that needs some time away. (:

Room Tip: This hotel is very close to Dollywood.

I love the All Season Suites. It's my first choice during Dollywoods Smoky Mountain Christmas festival. Why? Because when Dollywood closes at 9pm, I can be out of the park and back at the room in just a few minutes. All Season Suites is just 1 mile from the park. It's off the parkway, away from the traffic.

You get a suite-really like a 1 bedroom apartment. You have a kitchen (without an oven), a living room, dining room, separate bedroom and bath. I like having all that space. The breakfast is great. Made to order omelets, belgian waffles, biscuits and gravy, donuts, muffins, cereal and fresh fruit. It's a great way to start the day.

The staff is great, always willing to talk to you. All in all, if you're looking for a great place, that is especially convienent to Dollywood, this is the place to go to.

The good
- It is off the main road and close to Dollywood.
- The suite did have a solid door between the roads in the suite.
- The staff was helpful.
- The pool was nice enough.

The bad
- I think this goes for any of the hotels in the area but the traffic to get to this hotel is horrible.

The ugly
- I can't recommend this hotel because of stains on furniture and it just wasn't clean enough. While the rooms were surfaced cleaned the room really needed someone to go around the edges with a crevice tool. The carpet turned our socks black plus the furniture had some stains.
- Basically it wasn't so horrible that I ran from it. I wouldn't suggest this hotel to someone else or stay in it again.
