“Great vietnamese food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 13, 2013

I eat at this restaurant every time i'm in town, a few times a year for several years. The food is very good, simple, good price. It's not very fancy and ambience is a bit dated, but it works. Curry chicken vermicelli is the favorite.

“Authentic”

My favorite is the spicy curry chicken on vermicelli. Order it extra spicy for a real treat. I love mom who runs the place. Great food and excellent value.

“Good food, good price, nice people”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2010

My wife and I eat at this restaurant about once a week. The food is simple, but tasty and fresh. Prices are very reasonable. In the winter, the soups are great, huge and warm. Curry chicken on rice is our favorite dish. The owner, Kim, had an interesting life, fleeing Vietnam during the war. If you are looking for a great home-style Vietnamese restaurant, this is it.

“Great food. Great story.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2009

Have not had a bad meal yet at this establishment during my travels to Oak Ridge for work. You will not appreciate it unless you know real Vietnamese cuisine. This is not a 5 dollar all you can eat cause it sits under a heat lamp type of place.

Real Vietnamese cuisine.......Pho....verimicelli bowls...fresh spring rolls. Just great food for those interested healthy asian cuisine.

Ask the owner about her own personal exodus from Vietnam and finding her family after 40 years of non contact......
