“Lots to do”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

If you're interested in the history of Oak Ridge this is a great start. How they did it, how they lived, and how hard it really was back then. But there is so much more if you take the time. Lectures from Oak Ridge National Labs which tell you the marvels they are working on. Interactive exhibits, learn a little about Y-12 (Our Nuclear Weapons facility). You even get to see replicas of Little Boy and Fat Boy.

That is what my grandson says about going to the Museum of Science and Energy... and grown ups
will love the historical information they get about the "Secret City" and the Atomic Bomb. there is
something for everyone and every age.. just allow yourself time to enjoy each segment and all the
hands on things for the kids...

“Small but interesting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

This is a fun and informative museum. A lot of history about Oak Ridge and the Manhattan project. Takes half a day unless you want to read everything. A hidden little secret in the "Secret City".

“Interesting history of Oak Ridge.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2013

It was a nice museum for the size of town and had very interesting history of the building of Oak Ridge and the laboratories. The flat-top house was the lodging of the impromptu Manhattan Project workforce.
