“Pretty place great staff”

The staff is very friendly. The location is great. The only problem we had is our sheets were not clean when we got here. The situation was rectified quickly management didn't call and apologize which was very annoying. The hotel is very clean, the bar is very nice. The maid service does an ok job. Overall the experience was positive.

I am a loyal SPG person. I stayed here for three nights on a work trip to Nashville. This is an older hotel that has been newly renovated. The vibe is almost more W than Sheraton in the rooms, cute and modern. The beds are great, I slept perfectly. Great, friendly staff. Room service food was above average. Easy walk ability to the convention center and Downtown Nashville. The gym and pool were quite nice, they have separate studios for cardio and weights. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

This hotel takes reservations over the Starwood system, but cannot get guests checked in on time. We sat at the bar for more than 3 hours waiting for our late room, and, of course, were reminded of the 1100 am check-out time. They may have spent money on renovations, but they forgot to spend it on maintenance and the check-in process.

Stayed at this hotel for 5 nights while working a convention. As others have noted the property is newly renovated. The architecture is vintage Hyatt from the 70s with elevators whizzing up and down in full view. Lobby is nice. Bar/lounge also looks nice though I didn't have time to try it. One shortcoming is the lack of a dedicated coffee shop for those on the go. There is a coffee set up in the gift shop, but it just doesn't look very inviting. Apparently there is a full service restaurant but it has extremely limited hours. On to the rooms . . . . Whomever it was that designed the room renovations should be shot for installing light colored carpet. Within just a couple of months after the renovation, the carpet in my room is already stained because it's light gray and shows everything. The more I stay in hotels the more I would rather have hard flooring than carpet. Other observations: the HVAC fans are loud. It bothered some of my colleagues but not me. I like it because it keeps out external noise, which can be a problem in hotels with open architecture. The bathrooms are small but adequate. Mine had a slight musty smell. The beds are very comfortable. Lots of counter, desk and drawer space. A refrigerator would have been nice and there was plenty of room for one. The nightstand had charging stations and USB ports on each side. It was difficult getting my iPad charger to fit between the nightstand and the bed, but I made it work. Despite that, I really appreciated that they were there so I didn't have to use an extension cord. Staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is situated up the hill from Broadway, the sports arena and the Music City Center so it's conveniently located downtown. Overall, a nice hotel.

This is a great location for a Music city visit---walking distance to everything. The staff was very helpful. The lobby bar is very nice and the breakfast buffet is excellent. Rooms have been recently renovated and are very nice.

We recently spent (4) days at the Sheraton Nashville. It was a nice hotel in a great location to the Broadway Strip. Easy walking distance to the Country Music Hall of Fame, Johnny Cash Museum, The Ryman, and the area's clubs & bars. We were rather shocked at the $14.95 per day charge for internet use and that there was not a refrigerator in the room. It's nice to be able to use the internet for planning your day in a foreign city and it's also nice to be able to pick up a few refrigerated snacks/beverages to keep in your room, if the hotel had these included in the price, then I'd rank it higher. I will say they did have a hotel shuttle that would take you where you needed to go locally. That was really nice and the driver was very friendly and helpful.

It's been renovated and it's quite nice but, we didn't have robes for us in the closet and my husband ended up stuck in the first elevator for 20 minutes between floor 11-12 for 25 minutes until they prayed the door open and brought a ladder for them to get out.

Room Tip: Rooms facing north had nice big windows but no sunshine coming in!
