“Ehhh. Wanted to be excited but just can't, not with dirty bedding.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

My wife and I stayed here for a couple nights for a weekend getaway. It was really easy to get to from I-65. I was unsure about nearby parking, so we decided to park at the hotel, which is $35 a day. Really pricey for where you are.

The hotel lobby is beautiful, and everyone from curbside to the front desk was really friendly. The bar was neat too, we had a drink there a couple times before heading out for the night. We didn't order any food from the bar but the drinks were priced similarly to the bars nearby; 5 or 6 bucks for a beer, 10 or 11 for a cocktail. The hotel is only a 5-10 minute walk from bars, Ryman Auditorium, Bridgestone Arena, etc, which was great.

The room was really underwhelming, mostly because it just wasn't clean. If I'm paying 35 bucks a day to park, 11 dollars for a cocktail and around 200-250 a night, I expect my bedroom to be clean. Well, it wasn't. We were in room 910. There were stains on the bedding including sheets and pillow cases. The carpet was worn and pretty filthy. So of course when you find a few things, you look harder. The bathroom had a few hairs laying around on the counter and tub. I definitely didn't expect to find this in this hotel.

I see other reviews saying everything in their room was clean, which is a bummer. I'm jealous of those travelers! We wanted to love the place, but we were pretty dissatisfied with the condition of the room. Next time we're downtown I think we'll stay elsewhere before coming back here.

Room Tip: Pretty neat views all around from the higher floors

I was very impressed from the minute I walked into the hotel. The reception was warm and inviting. The clerk was very friendly and informative. The room was absolutely gorgeous! Great proximity to walk downtown

The Sheraton Nashville has truly gone through a multi-million dollar renovation that has resulted in a impressive lobby, that has Champagne bubble-like lights rising nearly 30 stories high.

I was upgraded to a suite that was large, on the 25th floor and had wonderful views. The executive lounge breakfast was average, but the attendant and views were unbelievable.

Only issue were falty elevator lights. Caused me to think I needed my key replaced several times.

Will stay again.

Stayed for three nights over the labor day weekend. Beds were super comfortable with very nice linens. Great television with plenty of channels. The only negative was the pool level of th3 hotel smelled like a sewer.

This hotel is in the process of a renovation so this review may have some bearing on that but parking at $35.00 plus tax a night on top of that is steep. There was a long walk from the parking lot to the lobby and a long staircase to get to the lobby and no directions as to where the lobby was located. The room was clean and comfortable. The hotel location was great. WiFi was $14.95 a day so we opted not to get internet access. Everything was sooo expensive. Not worth it!

Hotel was beautiful and price right for the location and beauty, but you would expect some type of reasonable parking. $35 per night is a little pricey for anyone. .

I take part of the blame for not clearly reading the amenities, but still overpriced parking. The next street over is parking for $10.

The hotel is beautiful and clean. The beds and TVs are awesome.

The parking is too expensive given what you pay for a room. It's more expensive than parking in a lot surrounding the hotel. A nearby competitor, homewood suites, charges 1/3 as much to park and there is public parking as low as $5 a day nearby. Beats me why they would not offer the parking as a perk of staying in their expensive hotel rooms.

Very little benefit to staying at club level. The breakfast is mediocre but it's made unenjoyable by the number of people trying to get at it in the small space of the "clubroom." It was loud and chaotic.

Similarly, the bar area was loud and chaotic - like a bar in a college area. The bar continued serving people who were loud and clearly drunk and obnoxious - so the drunk and obnoxious people stayed - so we left because it was not a relaxing, chill, comfortable environment like you would expect. A patron got so drunk be passed out and his friends laid him on one of the couches in the bar area and continued taking shots that the bar continued serving them.

Then we tried to order room service drinks and were told it would take them 20-25 minutes to bring us 2 beers. After that amount of time passed, we called to check on our beers and they had not even gone to get them yet - so we cancelled them. They did not care when we expressed our frustration and dissatisfaction with the Sheraton's service. Most hotels will get you an entire meal in 20-25 minutes.

Also, we were gone from 10:30 am to 9:50 pm and our room was not cleaned and restocked. I booked for 2 adults and they only had a robe for 1.

It is 2.5 miles from downtown Nashville. Note it is on union STREET not union AVENUE. If you want to be able to walk around hotspots downtown - do not stay here. Even if you do not mind a 5 mile round trip walk, you will have to walk through shady areas to get back to your hotel from downtown.

Finally, when you pay as much as they charge, it is disappointing to get no name toiletries called "Shine for Sheraton" as opposed to brand name toiletries like many hotels in this and lower prices points provide.
