“Friendly staff, comfortable accomodations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2012

We had a very large apartment with an upstairs and downstairs bedroom, full kitchen and living room. The only negative was that sofa was worn (somewhat saggy) and could stand to be replaced but everything else was clean and neat and comfortable. The hotel was a quick 15 minute drive to the center of downtown and very close to the expressway. The hotel has an anti-noise policy and it was very quiet. We didn't even hear any airplanes.

Room Tip: FYI: there was no elevator for second story rooms in our building. Also, the pool wasn't open ye...

i love this place precisely because i don't feel like i was in a hotel. its very cozy and it feels like home, there a small kitchen, living room, bedroom and bathroom. the food was ok, not a lot of choices but it was good enough. will come back in this hotel :)

Our room was kind of clean. There was trash and dirt behind the furniture. The floors had soft spots that were kind of scary! The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good. There were several barking dogs in the rooms and no one seemed to care.

Lot's of banged up door jambs, 'dust' in the corners, crumbling concrete, well used common areas. In addition the tired staff is just trying to finish the day (or is it the staff is trying to finish the day with their tired job. Is this hotel the future of Marriott?

It happened years ago to Holiday Inn. No reinvestment and little oversight from the 'home office'.

This platinum elite urges Marriott management to review this and other aged properties.

Are these hotels on brand??

We stayed in what they call "the penthouse." It was the bi-level room with a bedroom and bathroom on the second floor. It wasn't a true upstairs with there not being a complete wall to the ceiling where the bed was locating giving you a way to look down into the kitchen and living room. The living room has a fire place and a sofa bed. The dining room also had a fold-down-bed with a bathroom off from the bed. It was very clean and a nice stay.

This hotel is only 4 miles from the Grand Ole Opry center. We had a very nice 2 room suite. The suite was very clean and spacious. It is outside but the property was very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and they have a free airport shuttle to all the Marriott properties.

Room Tip: The Shoney's restaurant is not far away and they have a great buffet. And also the cab driver th...

On my recent stay this property was well kept and clean, but could use an update on the rooms. While they tell you that you have a fireplace, the don't tell you that you have to get the wood and start your own fire. I have stayed in places where they have gas logs. As far as checkout, I called the desk the night before and asked if they had express checkout and was told if I find my bill on the door in the morning I was good to go. I guess the fact that it was raining made it too difficult to hang a bill on my door? There are other hotels in this area, so next time I will use one of them.

Room Tip: If you get a room on the back side, I would advise double locking your door. Just didn't feel s...
