“Outstanding location”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

Valentine's Day Trip. Just off Broadway, adjacent to the Convention Center and across from the Arena. Whether you are doing business or touristy things you can walk to everything. The hotel, although old does not show its age. The rooms are fresh and clean and so is the staff. Everyone was friendly. The concierge lounge served a wide variety of food both in the evening and at breakfast. If I have one gripe it would be that the Concierge lounge was cramped. They took up the best table space with computers. I wish that during the renovation they had sacrificed a room or two to expand the lounge. Tip: you will pay for parking whether you self-park or use the valet. If you self park there is a bridge on the 4th floor so you don't have to go outside or cross commerce street to get to your car.

Room Tip: Best views are high floors on the Broadway side of the hotel.

500 member company meeting here for three days---and every aspect went smoothly. The hotel rooms are nice, beds comfortable, and the staff is remarkably nice and helpful. The location is excellent for walking in town. No need for a DD. Only drawbacks are slow elevators and expensive parking daily fees. Would definitely stay here on the next trip to Nashville.

recently stayed four night for business. Hotel is very clean, very comfortable beds and bedding. Staff friendly and helpful. Many bars, restaurants and entertainment facilities within easy walking distance. Good food and fair priced drinks for a hotel.

We had a great stay at this hotel for the weekend. It is only three blocks from Broadway. The room was clean and nice. My only slight complaint is we were had an adjoining room to some loud people but that can happen anywhere. We ate dinner at the hotel restaurant, the food and service were good. There is a larger Starbucks on the first floor for those who's morning coffee addiction cannot be suppressed with hotel coffee. All around a nice stay.

My husband and I stayed here for a long weekend for a seminar that was held on Saturday. It is a beautiful hotel within walking distance of plenty of shopping, restaurants, and local bars. However, for $229 a night I would expect at least a continental free breakfast and wi-fi. I have stayed at less expensive hotels and had these things provided. On more than one occasion during our three night stay I had to run the water for several minutes before getting hot water. One morning I had to run the water for over 5 minutes before I could take a hot shower.

The staff was very attentive and helpful. The room was clean and I loved the view from our 22nd story room. It is a very nice place to stay if you don't mind paying an additional $13.95 a day for internet access.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the Broadway side of the hotel and in the upper floors if you want to watch the ac...

We stayed here to go to the JB concert. The valet parking was nice. The location of this hotel was great. The rooms were just like any other hotel room. This hotel is connected to The Convention Center. The Hilton is right beside The Bridgestone. I forgot my dd's swimsuit. The gift shop had a few to choose from. It was great not having to leave to get one. We ordered room service. We ordered pizza, wings, chocolate cake, & a Renaissance burger with sweet potato fries. The cake was not very good. The rest was delicious! We also ordered breakfast the next morning. We had pancakes, an apple, an orange, poached eggs, toast, and sausage links. The pancakes, apple, & orange were okay. The rest was not very good.

Spent the night to see the Nashville Predators at the Bridgestone Arena. For the price and location, it's a good deal. Located about 1 block from the arena, easy access to parking, alot of restaurants & bars to choose from. The room itself is fairly average, clean, also, no room safe. I would stay here again.

Room Tip: I think this is the closest hotel to the Bridgestone Arena at a fair price.
