The management should be proud of their staff. Everyone we encountered on our 3 days here were very nice. I don't know if I have ever stayed at a hotel with a staff as nice as here. We started off our visit with a little problem with my credit card & through working out the problem, they never made me feel like I was at fault even though my credit card company was accusing them of entering something wrong (by the way, it was the credit card company that was wrong, not the hotel). Our room was clean & it looks like they are really trying to keep everything updated (comfortable matresses, flat screen tv, granite countertops in bathroom). It is an older hotel so there are somethings that just can't be "updated" but overall the room was nice. Clean is one of the most important things & there was no trouble with that. I do wish there was an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Breakfast is great. Usually when you get the free breakfast it is a toast, cereal, coffee, juice. Not here, you have eggs, sausage, sausage gravy & bisquits, waffles plus the other things. The food is good & the staff kept up as well as they could with fresh food, usually only having to wait a couple of minutes for things to be refilled. We asked the front desk a couple of times for directions on getting downtown & restaurants & they gave us clear directions. It is a quiet area within a few blocks of restaurants/bars & free bus route that drops you off downtown (just don't try to ride the bus on Sunday). There is no question that the next time we are in Nashville, we will stay here.

Dear Sondra F, thank you very much for taking time and reviewing our property. I am sorry that you had a bad experience with the credit card company. Our Management and staff as so well trained that they make your stay a pleasure and so much fun that you will not miss out on any of the events or entertainment in Nashville.

Our rooms are upgraded on a regular basis. We are proud to say that we are the only hotel in Nashville Metro to offer Tempur-pedic Mattresses. Comfortable mattresses and a room well equipped with microwaves and refrigerators, make our residents feel home with all the basic amenities. We are one of the very few handful of hotels that offer Free Wireless Internet.

Once again, on behalf of the Management, I thank you very much for making Best Western a part of you stay.

Thank you,
Nathan

We stayed here while attending a concert at the Ryman Theatre. The room was large, comfortable and clean, and the breakfast was very good. The staff was courteous and very friendly. The hotel was only a short bus ride (free) from downtown.

clean hotel, clean room, accomodating and friendly front desk (except for 1 sunday afternoon person) , they give little welcome bag with necessities when u check in (very ez) which is a nice gesture. 1st morning breakfast not bad, the regular, eggs, sausage pattes, littlle muffins, the waffle machine, etc, but the 2nd morning eggs seemed like leftover from morning b4. the room service on the 2nd day was terrible. we went out for the day, got back around 4 pm (check in time is 3p) and room was still not made. we are 2 older people and need a little rest b4 we head out for eve activities. now we try to get some rest and about 4 of the maids are out in the hallway joking around among themselves with no regard to people in their rooms. had to open my door to tell them to knock it off. then they wanted to clean my room and told them its too late at this point- forget it! parking was ez, theyve gotten rid of the bar crowd they had last time. convenient to lots including the gulch and station inn. would probably stay here again. very quiet area and room.

Although I didn't get to enjoy all of the amazing places around the hotel I was super comfortable in the king sized bed. The room has lots of space! The kids were able to run around without being annoying and getting into everything. The tv was huge! Safebox in the room. Overall it was a good place to rest.

Located in Music City Row, a pleasant 1 mile walk or short cab ride to downtown.
Music City Row bars and restaurants I block away, short walk to the Gulch for
Shopping and fine dining. Front desk extremely helpful and accommodating. Room
Perhaps a little dated, but very clean with exceptionally good bed. Full breakfast of
Hot items or yogurt, fruits and cereals served each morning. Stayed 9 very
Pleasant days. Cabs in morning especially very plentiful, usually waiting at door.
Would definitely return on next visit.

Dear BCwintreaveller, thank you very much for the quick tips and elaborate review of our hotel property. We are located in the heart of Music Row, close to where all the world famous recording studios are. This means that we are a very short mile or a 20-25 min walk into the downtown music district. Gulch area has a lot of upcoming restaurants and boutiques for dining and shopping.

We make sure that all our guests are happy visiting Nashville and staying with us. Thank you very much for your feedback and we look forward to seeing you stay with us in the future.

Thank You,
Rocky

My second stay here for work, and this time my wife joined me. We both found that BW exceeded just about all our expectations, especially when compared to other hotels in price range and location. It looks dated, but the rooms are quiet, comfortable and immaculate. The gym, again, looks dated but actually has good free weights, bike and stepper. Service is excellent and breakfast is very good - the staff work really hard to ensure high standards and are friendly too. I have had 7 nights here this year and have slept well and enjoyed each one of them. Better yet, you can easily walk into town and get a cheap cab back.

Dear JamesRedge, thank you very much for your patronage. On behalf of the Management team, I thank you very much for coming back to stay with us.

Our hotel, no doubt, is dated but we are trying to compete with the other properties in the area offering some modern amenities blended in with some old World Charm, health conscious breakfast options. All this topped off with good customer service makes our guests the happiest in the world. We make sure that we make our guests feel that our hotel is their "HOME" away from home.

We are very much looking forward to seeing you stay here again in the near future.

Thank you,
Nathan
