With the medical rate this was a good value. The refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker makes it a easy place to stay for several days. The shuttle and it's very friendly and accommodating drivers is the best part. We were just a few minutes from the Sarah Conners Research Institute and were dropped off and picked up at the atrium entrance for our doctor's appointments. Roosevelt, the driver of the comfortable shuttle, was like a tour guide. He suggested restaurants and activities for our visit. I am glad we made a "reservation" on the shuttle by calling the front desk. The shuttle was very prompt picking us up at various locations within a 3 mile radius of the hotel which included Broadway. We will be a regular here for the next several months.

From the quick and friendly check in to the amazing view (my room was on 14th floor overlooking the park and the Parthenon) and convenient location of this hotel....I would highly recommend this hotel. I was pleasantly surprised at how large my room (king room) was as well as very nice. I haven't stayed at a Holiday Inn in a long time (think back to the orange and green logo days!) so I was impressed with the decor and atmosphere throughout the property.

Sure...it wasn't a new hip boutique-y place, but they never said they were. I am always so surprised by some of the negative comments for places....you didn't book a room at a 5-star hotel so why are you judging the place as if it were. I would say this location definitely delivered a 4 star experience.

The location of this hotel is hard to beat....so many conveniences (even the Parthenon) within steps of the hotel. Lots of dining options. I did not use the shuttle service but whenever I headed out, most of my destinations were within 10 minutes of the hotel. I would love to be here for a Vandy game.... It is right next to the stadium.

If you are looking for a place to stay in Nashville, I don't think you'll be disappointed if you choose this hotel. I will definitely return and stay here again.

Room Tip: I would guess that any room above 4th floor has great views...either of the park/Parthenon or of the...

We stayed here for a basketball tournament. The hotel was packed, but that didn't stop the staff from being very hospitable, professional and helpful. Our daughter's team plays in this tournament every year and we will be back. Thank you for making our stay so wonderful.

Room Tip: Ask for a room on the back of the hotel, so you can see the Vanderbilt stadium.

Very attentive. The people at the front desk were very helpful and nice. I recommend this hotel for its great location and amazing staff. We stayed there only one night as my dad was going into surgery at the VA the next morning and they gave us a great rate and great service.

Lobby looked nice when you walk in. Carpets in room were nasty. Made sure flip flops were on at all times. Walked out of the room and carpet in hall was wet and smelled like wet dog. Told staff at front desk never seen any thing done about it. Went to go swimming and first of all beer cans, cigarette boxes thrown all over. 6:00 PM on a Saturday night. Didn't see any towels so I went up to front desk and ask. They said would bring them right out. Sit there for 1 hour. No body ever showed up. I had planned on showing them the scum on top of the water. Finally just left. Never was able to use the pool. Parking is a night mare. Lots of partying at hotel. Got woke up so many times by people partying and knocking on door wanting a beer. Also our things were gone through. I had a 30 day pill box and I had it fixed for traveling. Who ever opened it couldn't get it shut right. No pills missing but i also didn't have have any narcotics. Couple who was with us in the next room had a narcotic pill missing. To many hotels in town stay some place and save some money.

Room Tip: Go to a different hotel.

Platinum member with this hotel chain I made the reservation last week my profile states high room away from the elevator. Room 317 right off of the elevator absolutely outdated atrocious room. I stayed here several times in the past but have not been put in this style room i'm originally from Nashville and travel here on business now this would be the last time I stay at this hotel.

This hotel is close to Broadway within walking distance it also provides a shuttle service within two miles of the hotel. As you enter you are greeted in a welcoming fashion and the lobby is very bright and comfortable you have access to internet and always have a free newspaper in the lobby the rooms are very comfortable and the beds and pillows are very relaxing this is not a fancy hotel but you have everything that you need, one of the plus of this hotel is the complimentary breakfasts very good every morning and one of the best selections that I have seen for these types of breakfasts there is also a small pool but you are not allowed to bring drinks to it that is something that should change you should be able to cool off in the pool and be able to enjoy a can of beer at the pool I understand not allowing bottles but cans should not be an issue there is always towels available the pool is very clean but it is crowded at times and you are surrounded by concrete walls one negative was housekeeping more than once we were away from morning till 3 in the afternoon and our room was still not cleaned the hotel needs some updates but overall it is great value, if you want beer or snacks there is a gas station across the street that has a very good variety of snacks also if you are looking for an exceptional meal try the Union station across the street this is a bit costly but the meal is amazing overall we were satisfied and would probably return to this hotel

Thank you for posting your review. I believe you are referring to another hotel, as we do not offer complimentary breakfast, and are not across from Union Station. Our hotel is adjacent to Vanderbilt, across from Centennial Park. We hope you will stay at the Holiday Inn Nashville Vanderbilt on your future trips.
