“nice remodel”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2014

hotel has been remodeled - very well done. New flare to an older HAMPTON INN. Staff was great, new furnishings and good location. A little pricey, used some points to defer cost. Would stay there again, maybe book earlier to get a better rate.

Things I loved about this hotel:
1. Super friendly Southern welcome. Nothing is too much trouble for staff.
2. Free Shuttle bus - door to door service downtown all day long
3. Big rooms with comfortable beds and lots of towels, nice bathroom.
4. Great complimentary breakfast including waffle maker.

This is without a doubt the nicest value hotel I've ever stayed in. You'd be crazy to miss it!

Very clean rooms, attentive and friendly staff, and 5 minutes from Broadway. Complimentary shuttle bus will take and drop off within 2 miles of the hotel, a big $ saver as downtown parking gets expensive.

Room Tip: Dont want to be near The Row, which is bar across the street with outdoors patio, music goes kinda l...

My husband and I are here for medical reasons and are delighted with the amenities: the staff is always helpful and accommodating, the complimentary breakfast is the best I have ever had, the shuttle is always available, parking is free and easy, many terrific restaurants are within walking distance, OrderUp.com is great for "eat-in" meals, coffee is terrific, TV, wake-up calls, wifi, lovely pool, everything one could want for the right price.

Stayed for two nights in May, found the Vanderbilt to be very convenient, with the staff very friendly and helpful. The car parking facility was useful as was the shuttle. all in all this was a very positive experience and I would not hesitate to return in the future.

Very convenient to my destination at Vanderbilt-no charge for parking like others in the area-good eats close by. Staff always courteous and helpful. Many local tourist attractions close by. Very reasonable price compared to other nearby hotels.
