“Good location and beds”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 16, 2013

Very close to Vanderbilt campus - making it easy to get anywhere in the city. Rooms were spacious and nice. Beds were comfortable and plenty of parking onsite made it easy. The pool is outside, so it was a bit too early for us to check it out, but on a warmer weekend, this would be a great option.

Stayed the night for business. The rooms were amazingly nice. The desk is perfect for work, and they even provide a laptop bed tray. The bathrooms were quite nice as well. In the morning, the breakfast was top notch. Highly reccomended for business or pleasure.

Besides being clean and comfortable, something you expect from hotels, the amenities and the people were what stood out. I have never met such a nice hotel staff - everyone from the front desk to the breakfast staff was so nice and generous. The hot breakfast was a great spread. Not your usual free breakfast of cereal and a couple of muffins. The free coffee and tea at the entrance came in handy and the free shuttle was of great use to us as well. The location was great too. Near lots of bars and restaurants.

Also, I never touch a hotel duvet. You never know if they are washed and they are just gross looking to me usually, and i'm a little weird about that stuff. There was a sign in the elevator that said that the duvets are washed for every customer. When I passed out in bed at night, I woke up and realized i was actually sleeping with the duvet as my top sheet, not the top sheet that I was sleeping on top of. Normally, I would probably freak out, I felt totally comfortable and even sat on top of the duvet, which i wouldn't normally do. It looked clean and having that sign made me feel comfortable.

Staff was AMAZING! Opened breakfast early for us crazy runners and after had post race snacks and drinks set up in the lobby. Rooms were clean. Location was very close the the start of the race and tons of food options within walking distance of the hotel.

I was so surprised how lovely the rooms were. To the bathroom marble floor and the amazing pillows. The restaurants were walking distance and I just enjoyed my stay very much. My only suggestion is to add more channels for guests to watch.

Had a family member at a nearby hospital and needed to be in a comfortable place to wind down at the end of each stressful day. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience than what we received at this hotel.
