“A good place to spend a few nights.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2013 via mobile

It is about 1 to1.5 miles from all the action on and around Broadway but still easily accessible via taxi, shuttle, or by foot. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I would stay there again. My only complaint is the cleaning staff woke us up at around 8:15am to see about cleaning the room and then knocked again at around 11:30 after I had placed the"Do Not Disturb" sign the door.

We stayed at the hotel while in town for business. Great hotel! Very clean, convenient free parking and very nice staff. We were greeted by staff whenever we encountered them in the hall or lobby. The room was very clean and nice. We will certainly stay there again when in town!

We were in Nashville for a medical appointment at Vanderbilt Hospital and found the location of the Hampton Inn to be very convenient. Our accommodations were very comfortable and everything was very accessible. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the breakfast that was provided each morning. We would highly recommend the Hampton Inn to anyone.

We stayed here for 3 nights in February. It was a very nice hotel - clean room and bathroom, very good breakfast, super-friendly staff, and it was walking distance to several very good restaurants. It was close to Vanderbilt University and near the roads that would take you to Belle Meade Plantation, The Hermitage, and an easy drrive to the downtown area. We also took the Gray Line morning tour of Nashville, and the bus picked us up right at the hotel. I would definitely recommend it.

We love staying here the hotel shuttle we take you downtown and pick you up so you don't have to drive and park. The staff was wonderful and the rooms very clean. Our shuttle drivers were very helpful and knowledgeable about places to go and events that were occurring. This will be the only place we stay in Nashville.

We stay here all the time. The facility is in great shape after all the remodeling and the staff is great. This is the perfect hotel for people that are coming to Nashville to see downtown and sample some restaurants. Clean rooms with flat screen HD televisions.

Reserved two rooms, one for us, and the other for three older teens, and check in was a breeze, there is ample free parking, and you are greeted by the smell of popcorn in the lobby. There also is coffee available at all times of the day, and we noted a small sign posted in the rooms bathroom that if you forget one of your incidentals, they offer these, shall you need (which is nice if you realize that you forgot something). Our rooms was vey clean, and appeared to be updated recently. Internet service was available, and there is a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The one qualm that we have is that the walls are thin, and you can hear voice tones while others are walking through the corridor. They have a basic breakfast available daily, and this is nice for those in a rush, as they had bagles, waffles, eggs, sausage, o.j, bacon and quite a few other items available. The area is good, and while there is construction (at this time) next door, it was not loud or intrusive. Check out was a breeze and I commend the staff as everyone was very friendly (saying 'hi' and smiling) when you'd encounter them. We generally prefer more upscale hotels for our stays, but this worked out great, and we will stay here again when returning to town.

As a side note for those traveling with teens/quick overnighters, there are a lot of nearby (easy walk), moderate quick in and out restaurants, including spot next door with great service that is really good.

Lastly, if you enjoy history or simply want a little trip away, the Hermitage (home/grounds of President Jackson) is about 25 minutes away, and we would recommend it to all.
