Friends and I had been enjoying happy hour in East Nashville when we got to craving pizza. We walked into a pizza restaurant in 5 points and the hostess rather flippantly/rudely told us the wait would be 45 minutes to an hour even though there were open tables. Ok....
So we walked down the street to PizzeReal. We were seated immediately! Actually the place was nearly empty. (Why wait 45-60 minutes for pizza when there's another pizza establishment just down the street?)
We ordered the caprese and it was delicious! Generous toppings, good crust, very tasty. Two of us had a glass of wine each, the caprese and the bill came to about $35. That might sound a bit high for pizza, but we each took home 1/4 of the pizza. It reheated very well in the oven the next day for lunch. Well worth the visit!
I'll make this my pizza go-to place from now on. They were great and I felt that my business was welcome and appreciated. (Unlike an neighboring pizza establishment where I was simply dismissed.)
